My mothers side are Scots - Clan Cummings. Soft spot for Scotland but then again there is plenty of English and Welsh in me as well

Scotty had 4 South Africans playing for them yesterday...and then there's Hugh Jones...a honorary Saffa...and it's easy to watch their playing style...this is a good side.

The Scottish SA wings are big and dangerous…..going to be a exiting WC opener and we will have to be at our best to beat the Scotties.

Duhan can be vulnerable under the high ball. This would be the route I'd go to get behind them, and take the game out of their comfort zone. For them to scrap for possession, and fight every phase. I don't expect they'll get the better of us in the set pieces. We do have a very leaky defence, and a lack of muscle on the gainline. Our track runners like Arendse, Libbok, et al are easily blown away by even a moderate physical effort. When Scotland play us, they usually don't turn up with a sound gameplan. I never understand why that is the case. A lack of confidence in themselves to impose their game? I don't know. I suspect much the same. They usually defend passively against us, and hang back on the outside. It's the best possible condition for track runners to pad the stat sheet and perhaps do some harm. As Argentina showed in the first test, rush up fast, and the Boks bumble and fumble, running aimlessly, and become much, much less threatening. It's pretty simple really. Smother the Boks on the line. I wouldn't even try to commit large numbers at the breakdown, exit quickly, and just keep reloading the line and hit them hard.
