The Stormers and the Sharks are looking solid, but the rest are pretty much cannon fodder.
The Queens were pathetic, the Bulls lacked any form of a game plan, and the Lions were almost a total embarrassment.

The Lions were not showing their real colours because of two players - Jantjies and Mnisi.   For the rest I do not really have a problem with the rest of the team.
I rate the Jaguares highly and the Cheetahs had a very good game against them.  Would not write them off totally - they will win a few games this year.
Th Bulls have a problem - their half-backs were not up to standard and Serfontein as well as Kriel consequenrly  had iffy games.   Dave was right when he expressed reservations about their team selection.  Hope Marais gets it right soon.
The Stormers has problems of their own.  The midgets (Kolbe. Leyds and De Jongh)  are not really u to standard.  I think they must pray hard that De Allende gets well  asap.   I would send two of the midgets to play Sevens and the other one to play CC.

I forgot about the Cheetas match game yesterday.
The best performance of the weekend was the Stormers.Leroux was good for the Sharks.
The loss of Pollard to Japan rugby overplaying has left the Bulls without SuperXV standard flyhalf. Schoeman is average.
Dupreez for the Stormers is already looking to be of SuperXV standard. Joe Pieterson is also solid at flyhalf with the ability to make the right decisions.

The Bulls will be fine once they get their selections right.....Pollard is a big loss at 10 but Schoeman is a handy replacement.....not sure why Marias selected the Morne clone in Brummer at 10.....he is useless.
The game was pretty even up to the point where the Bulls subbed their frontrow.....the wheels came off thereafter. The Bulls scrum had the slight edge up to that point.
Saying that the Lions are cannon fodder is laughable
They controversially lost out on the play-offs in last years s15, dominated the CC.....they now know they belong and have no weaknesses these days.
The Lions will be in our top 3 by the end of the s18
