Ankle wideness is a worthy substitute for height.

We need a side by side with Faf and Smith, just to be sure.

Nailed it Plum! It has nothing to do with height or neck. It is all about ankles. Take Faf for example, I believe he has taken every line out he ever contested. In other words, he has a 100% success ratio throughout his career in line outs. That has to be a record of some sort. And here Moz and I were haggling about neck length! L ittle did we know!!!!

What the hell has length of neck to do with performances?  Mozart has to find BS to deal with Du Toit, but then w e know he does not know much about the game of Rugby.

Nonsense the neck issue is settled science....ankle thickness merely speculation. Show me your data.

Moz

Stop trying to bring data and stats into this.

Faf has two ankles. Both of them thick. The thickest even. And he has a 100% lineout record.

Attempting to promote neck length over such overwhelming evidence as the above is folly and truly unbecoming.

PS I see what you did there btw. Angling to place ankle thickness into the same category as Bitcoin.

Nice try. Now stop it.

Plum, I think you're giving Moffie too much credit.
On another subject, I'd appreciate your input on this thread.
Saffex, if you're around, yours too. I really want to win this debate!
