 Mozart
There is a very easy way out - say you were wrong when you referred to some rugby  players you do not like as "seuntjies"  and the problem will go away.

And you will stop referring to Victor and Jannie as "geriatrics"? Can you see your incredible hypocrisy yet Perv?

The problem ou Tokkie has is the fact that he do not even really understand the term "geriatrics". His blunder starts when he thinks that geriatrics actually refer to a group of people. He do not understand that the use of the word  is generally meant to be offensive.

noun

An old person, especially one receiving special care:rest home for geriatrics

Usage

Geriatric is the normal, semi-official term used in Britain and the US when referring to the health care of old people ( a geriatric wardgeriatric patients). When used outside such contexts, it typically carries overtones of being worn out and decrepit and can therefore beoffensive if used with reference to people.

The essence is that, if you look at the origin of the word it actually refers to the medical care of elderly people  and not to the elderly people themselves.

Origin

1920s: from Greek g?ras 'old age' + iatros 'doctor', on the pattern of paediatric.

Geriatrics or geriatric medicine[1] is a specialty that focuses on health care ofelderly people.[2] It aims to promote health by preventing and treating diseasesand disabilities in older adults. There is no set age at which patients may be under the care of a geriatrician or geriatric physician, a physician who specializes in the care of elderly people.

1. Of or relating to geriatrics.2. Of or relating to the aged or to characteristics of the aging process.
1. (Medicine) of or relating to geriatric medicine or to older people2. (of people or machines) old, obsolescent, worn out, or uselessn3. (Medicine) an elderly person4. an older person considered as one who may be disregarded as senile or unable to look after his or her own best interests
There you have it. All of the people who ou Tokkie describes as geriatrics have at some stage rendered, or are still rendering valuable service to SA on the rugby fields. Despite their service and reputation, he regards them as obsolete, worn out, useless, senile, unable to look after their own best interest..............

Cry me a river Michael. And you are hardly one to talk about not getting responses to questions. As per Frans, I and others have explained everything. Quite frankly it's becoming a bore to have to retrace the same ground over and over and over!! It's like being subjected to MKUltra style programming. LOL! You just don't like what you hear, and you typically ignored what I did say in another thread mere days ago regarding Frans! Remember that? Of course not.

When I refer to geriatrics I state clearly that it is in respect of rugby players who are way past their sell-by date that the specific term applies to. And I am not the only person on this site using that term.
"There you have it. All of the people who ou Tokkie describes as geriatrics have at some stage rendered, or are still rendering valuable service to SA on the rugby fields. Whomsoever comes up with the above is delirious.  I do not criticize players about their past performances in the case of the more elderly players.   The criticism is directed against present players who are indeed way past their sell-by date and whose presence in the team reduces team performance.
The part of "despite their service and reputation" is claptrap - past service and reputation  is not the issue - present lack of performance is.  Sure they are obsolete, worn out and useless as rugby players - that is proven over and over in games.  The rest is real rubbish - they can have a full life after rugby - without all those junk thrown in by Ceradunce.
What is tragic is that players who overstays their welcome do damage to their reputation and the general public remember their recent flops and forgets about their past greatness.
I have never referred to a specific age group in dealing with the issue - I have never called Habana and Jean de Villiers :rugby geriatrics"  because they perform still as players.   Even younger players whose performance is gone - gets the designation because they should be out if the game.and not be detrimental to the team as a whole.
Weak effort to get out of the mess you created for yourself and admit that you were wronmg in using of the term "Seuntjies"  and the term will stop.

Hell Ou Tokkie. Imade a grave mistake. I really thought that you would get what I was trying to show you but alas, it seems that I have to really try and make it more elementary, so that you can keep up.

Ag the poor Ceraduince at it again.   I understood exactly what you meant and I gave a real and very clear understanding about why the term is used by some members and even journalists to describe non-performing players who refuse to stop playing international rugby.  Bakkies Botha said he does not want to be selected anymore and he opted out because he felt he cannot compete anymore - an honest admission of the real situation. Others like Matfield and Alberts refuse to recognise reality and they are bedevilling the functioning of the team.  Those are the real rugby geriatrics - not the players who still meets performance requirements.
Age of players have nothing to do with the issue - deficient performance by especially elderly players, but also younger ones who have gone totally off the boil - everything.

Seuntjies is a low-borne delirious individual with the nine-year-old kid  rugby brain function equivalent to the name he brought onto himself.

 Seuntjies
I refer to useless players with under-par performance as rugby geriatrics.   Matfield is number one qualifier for that,

This is nit picking, but borne means transported. So you are saying Mozart is a low transportation that is delirious with a 9 year old kid rugby brain equivalent to the word small boy.
How can anyone take you seriously when you sound like an early 2000s google translation of Japanese to English?

Moz,  I  do understand your running argument with Mike,  no problem,  but although your "Perv" jabs are not intended seriously,  it boarders on distasteful.  Mike,  same can be said about the "Seuntjies" You guys may be taking this a bit too far.

Perhaps I should post his comments back at him? Maybe he won't mind the vulgar language being thrown back at him? I don't recall anyone having a problem with the foul mouthed Tokkie, Rooi, CleanCut tag team. Or were you all too afraid to play the good Samaritan then? Either way, Michael has shown very little character and got what he asked for. When I was posting very little he was calling me out. Now he has to up his game or be run over. I wonder how his colleges would view his profane verbal assaults. Somehow I think they would be a little disappointed in Mr.Community.

Tokkie is a good guy in spite of being a potty mouth, a liar and a perv? What exactly is good about him, I'm not computing but open to new inputs.

I think I understand the situation. They view Michael as a harmless and defenseless old man. So we s hould all just grin and bare his bad behaviour. Interesting that Beano cannot see the similarities between SS and Michael's attempts at constricting alternate opinions. If you give him a platform to defend his argument he runs away or verbally bashes you. The reason why I get bored so quickly, it ruins what could be an interesting debate. He is like Dave in that way, he demands compliance or else.

I saw nothing but a low-life BSter who can do and say whatever he wishes - but never showed the barest sense in the world.  Seuntjies is the name - he deserves that  because he has less of a rugby brain capacity than a 9 year old seuntjie has.
This is the nature of the beast we have to deal with here - he lies if it fits his book and that is his daily bread.   He started this thread refusing to quote what I did say in full about Steyn - already a lie.   He made the "Seuntjies" remark to criticize any player who is a potential threat to Steyn's selection.
All of this because he was cornered about Steyn's lack of performance in games and he had to cover for his nonsensical support.   He and his Disaster Sidekick talks about "bad behaviour - but the only bad behaviour is when somebody dares to differ from them on anything.   They lie about what happens in matches - that is not bad behaviour  -  they dish out insults left right and center - that is not bad behaviour - they are foul-minded like in the perv story - that is not bad behaviour.
If their is one member who has summed Mozart up 100% - it was Rooinek who knew what was going on and identified "Seuntjies" as the worst liar ever on this Board.
If he thinks he and Disaster will drive me from this Board - like they did before with members - they can forget about it.  If they think somebody will stop exposing their lies about players - they can forget about that as well.  Sc um they remain and sc um they will ever be.

Like they did before? And when was this exactly? I think you are telling fibs again! It is not my intention to drive anyone from this board. Even though you tried several times to do the very same to me, remember that? Do you see where your little sob story loses its appeal? You show a very sinister side to yourself if you don't get your own way. You ended up in this situation because you tried to play the schoolyard bully and got burned. Your lies, yes you have lied very frequently, have been shredded. They used to happen every so often, but now they occur with alarming regularity. As per attacks, I'm quite mild and choose to be more playful with a humerous side than anything else. I don't spew volleys of verbal profanity, all I ask is for you to back up your claims. When you cannot do that you get personal. Quite frankly I'm disappointed that you couldn't make a game of it. If Tokkie-lossie, ClevarMika and dolt hurt your feelings, I apologize, though that surely cannot be the case. As per Moz, he debates hard and fair. We've had our tussles in the past, but a liar he most certainly isn't. Neither Ceradyne. In future you will do well to get your facts in order and be more honest. That means dropping your prejudice! We'll see how that goes, but if you expect me to accept the half baked tripe you tried to shove down our throats of late, you're a damned fool.
