The Boks better get their home matches right fairly quickly after the drought in 2020 because they play the ABs in Dunedin and Auckland in September, Australia away before that and then Wales, Scotland and England all away. They play Argentina twice at home thank goodness. They must at least win 2 of Lions series to stamp their mark, if not it's going to look like a tough ride.

I can see the AB's itching to get their hands on us...Dunedin has always very hard to win even at our best and so is Auckland.

The Boks are going to be tested, make no error.

Springbok schedule

July 2: Georgia, Pretoria
July 9: Georgia, Johannesburg
July 24: British and Irish Lions, Cape Town
July 31: British and Irish Lions, Johannesburg
August 7: British and Irish Lions, Johannesburg
August 14: Argentina (Home, TBC)
August 21: Argentina (Home, TBC)
September 11: Australia (Away, TBC)
September 18: Australia, Brisbane
September 25: New Zealand, Dunedin
October 2: New Zealand, Auckland
November 6: Wales, Cardiff
November 13: Scotland, Edinburgh
November 20: England, Twickenham

That statement is very, very true.

The AB's have been waiting.

It is difficult for the AB's when we don't have our main rival around - The Boks ensure that we have to lift our standards and believe it - There is nothing better than when the AB's beat the Boks.

Actually winning the WC is better. Oops I forgot, it’s been a while  for you chaps.

Yes you are right - it has been 6 years.

But our time will come again - very soon.

Lets see if the Boks can handle the target on their back for as long as the AB's did.

We have no doubt that we have the game to beat the Boks.

You may won the world cup but no one has forgotten that the Boks lost to the AB's.

I still can't understand why you lot lost to that Pom side...they were all hype and not much else, not bad, but no world champs...as has been exposed since...and the Boks loss to the Allblacks was insignificant at that stage...why mention it?

Are scores a yards stick...most of the time, yes

But not always.

In 1982 first test against Jaguars at Loftus, Boks 50, Jaguars 18

Second test in Bloemfontein Jaguars 21, Boks 12.

Jaguars (not Jaguares) were primary Argentinians with one player from Uruguay and one from Brazil.

That is a crazy  amount of test,  probably got to  make up for lost  revenue, not sure  how the team will last with all of these demands.

The Bargies have proven that they are hungry for blood and will probably be targeting the boks this year.

All Blacks has a point to prove, so I not expecting the same  team as last year.

Australia is a  mix bag, Wales are 6  nations champs,  so only easy teams is  Georgia and Scotland and even Scotland is not an easy  team

It's a long road and a tough one to stay on top...even if the Boks manage to get 2 out of 3 (a huge achievement in itself and perhaps a bigger prize in effort than even a world cup under present conditions) they still have to beat NZ in Dunedin and Auckland.

This is a mamouth task and if they do they can then clear the air of skeptics and truly beat their chests and claim to be true world champions.

I really hope we can.
