That's a prediction Dave. You didn't say "I think that the World side will win", but instead used a common idiom to express the exact same thing.

 It is a saying you dimwit it is not a prediction. I said the world side was better than our useless side but equally I know that a makeshift side on paper does not always produce the goods on the field. 
So while I thought the Bok side was crap and the world side was better at no point did I make a prediction on the outcome of the match and therein lies the essence of this argument.
