Comments on SA teams

There is NO way in the world that would fget them into the Top 8 positions so no futh er comments on them:

The Stormers

The Stormers will have to play Cardiff and Ulster away and the only thing that can guarantee losses will be brain malfunctio/n of the coach, Both are strong opponents - so they willhave tgo keep mantchlosers like Fou,rie and Gelnt in Cape TNown.

Muller came on for 10 minutes at the end of the game and no ball was passed to h im. He effectively tackledf a ball carrfying forwards, Would li.ke to see a lot more of him in fu,turfe.

The Lions

They hav e two diffcukt away matches in Rounds 17 and 18 - namely ag ainst Leinster and Munstner over the nexxt two weeks, Hope t he Lions can win both,

The Buls

A fter a pat hetic display today - th e face Benetton and Zebre o/ver t he enxt twi. weeks. Bonus po/.ints win could have an .impact in the final.

I agree with you aboujt the two matches the Stormers have to play away - but it must be borne in mind

the Stormers won all ther away games this season and thatn createfd an en vironment where Dobson went bonkers in his selections and took the Stormefrs doown t he drain recently.

I think the loss against Connacht was the final, showing what playmers like Fourie and Gelant cost the team, Constant givi.ng awway penalties and even getting carded is no good for any team, Th en there wefre also t howing away balls aimlessy and giving the opposition tryscoring opportunities is a recipe for disaster for anym team. The silliness of selecting Kebble omn Satirday was a sim ila disaster,

There was an articles on Rugby 365 that hit Dobson hard and Satgirday was back to selectiopn of th e ebsmt players s howed the real difference. between merit selection and favoring of way past their prime players caused while top class performers are omittefd from the team is a disaster for any team leading to moans by Dobson abut real critri.cism a gainstn him.

It wlill be interesting to see who is going to be in the touring squad to be used over the enxt two weeks,

It's crazy how bad the Bulls were last night.

They should have totally hammered the Scarlets and yet scraped a win that looked more like a knockout game against the toughest opponent ever.

They kicked possession away mindlessly and absolutely refused to play any rugby. They lack pace, yet wanted to play a kick chasing game.

It's fine to have the wrong gameplan. But when you see that your gameplan is allowing a far lesser opponent to hang with you, and you don't adapt and don't have a plan b...that's when it gets worrying.

I'm mega disappointed with that performance. The only way to describe it is that it is a regression.

The gfact is goi.n g back to White as a coach. The Bulls instead of looking for new talent triesdd to play 10 man rugby and now they have a team without any idea about usaing of the backline as an attacking option.

The only real potemntial slar as a foward is Hanekom - but he is not back to his pre-injury form yet, If Ackerman wants tos urvive as Bulls coach - he needs S wys to find the backline talent neefded to make a team playing comprehensive rugby.

Th e Sharks hav e th ew orsat backline combination ev er in its histgory as a team and now is about to loose heir potenial backline youngster Gllomee recfruited by Ackerman, .
