Vegas Sevens quarters

The USA comfortably beat Kenya, who seemed a bit gassed after beating NZ in the pools. This was clearly an atypical NZ team, with the Blitz Bokke scoring two uncontested tries down the blind side. Fiji were awesome as expected and Australia looked industrious, particularly at the breakdown.
The superstars both looked a bit like rookies. Habana almost botched a tap penalty in a late appearance. The Qualude did release an Aussie for one try....but was hopelessly beaten in the tackle and on another occasion gave the Bargies a try by shooting out of line. The experiment of introducing these 15 man superstars remains unresolved.

So who's playing who ?

Oz vs SA.....USA vs Fiji.  

 Thanks, NZ were hoping to break their Vegas duck .......... agsiestog, not this year .

Some of the NZ players like Forbes and Michelsen are looking a bit old....and you know I don't say that every day!

 Fact is that with that loss in the quarters means that NZ is now out of contention for leading the tournament log this year.
