The lie about the Roos so called strip - he picks the ball up and targets the 8, getting past him but the 8 gets enough on Roos to cause him to start falling down, on the way down he uses his left hand to fend off the wing and losses possession in the process. The ball falls out of Roos’s hand and onto the stomach of the wing, bouncing up with the wing tapping it to the next man who grubbers through

Fabrication as always

Thats what happened

So he lost the ball according to you and it bounced off the Goose in the direction of the Goose line…..which puts the Goose….right Einstein it put’s the Goose in front of him, not behind him.

He gets past the 8 fending him off with the right hand, he starts falling into the wing in front of him and losses possession on his way down

Whats hard to understand here

The only thing I understand is you lying about the small wing physically getting the better of Roos which is your original pathetic line

As I said you are simply lying about this fact

It's easy.

Anybody that had been watching URC this season knows that Roos hasn't been near Hannekom.

Dave can protest as much as he likes but Hannekom has been nothing short of phenomenal. No other forward in SA has come close.

And he's a more intelligent player than Roos. Hannekom, much like Henco, has high rugby IQ and makes his efforts count.

Roos, as much as Dave loves him, is behind Wiese on Rassie's pecking order. And I'm sure he's not ahead of Hannekom as far as Rassie is concerned either.

But don't worry, Dave, Roos might end up being a like-for-like swap for PSDT when the day comes. Not the most intelligent player but has a gas tank and decent amount of power and drive.

One thing one can't fault about Evan, is his heart. He always wants a fight and like that about him.

Plum stop speaking shit Hanekom has nowhere near as impactful as he was last season and that’s a fact

Roos is currently in good form and ahead of Hanekom - fact

No way in hell is Hanekom a more intelligent player than Roos - nothing between them

As for Henxi - nothing he does shows rugby IQ it’s all crash bash - another Jessie Kriel when it comes to rugby IQ

If you want great rugby IQ look no further than JJ

That IQ had him cut inside to run that inside line to receive the pass from Mapimpi for his try

Most players would have just carried on with the outside line and been tackled

He never dropped the ball until he made contact with the wing….you say he dropped it, I think it’s more likely the Goose stripped it given it went towards the Goose line. I watched the clip perhaps 20 times, there was no definitive frame.

What’s clear is he tried to bust past the little wing and was stopped and he lost the ball in contact. Pathetic.

Dave hypes players because he only watches highlights.

Thats the only way to explain how he thinks Roos comes close to Hannekom this year.

It's why he refused to agree that Venter completely shut Roos down when WP and the Lions played some weeks back.

...despite the commentators and studio team confirming exactly that. Literally saying how quiet Roos was and that Venter had nullified him.

Then again, Dave also thinks that Galant should have 50 Bok caps by now...lol. More evidence that he's a highlights cheat.

I honestly think that Dave just rates everybody so that when some of them make it he can say he told us so.

That is what you said, Pakie. And we confirmed it on the numerous match threads, live. One would have to blind not to see it.

Davie actually thinks Roos is ahead of Hannekom.

I don't dislike Roos, but nobody in SA has been on par with Captain America this year. I literally can't think of a single player.

He is good, but more a lock or number 7 player. I haven't seen him play at 8. Francie Horn is doing the job at 8 for the Lions.

Not seen much of him this year. However, I really liked him a few seasons ago. I think he must be 20 or 21 now. Give him another 2 to 3 years to mature and hopefully will be a real powerful ball carrier. A proper traditional number 7 that can hit rucks hards and do the hard yards near the rucks and get you over the gain line and bust tackles. Willie O from Australia is still the best 7 ever. Has a short stint, but he was so instrumental in helping the brumbies then helping the helping Australia.

Fuck me what games are you watching…..it pretty much ended for Roos when Ruan Venter Bossed him around….

6 is his only option!! Elrigh Louw pipped him, Hanekom will out gun him and Wiese is our incumbent…

Good luck in thinking he will make the 8th man spot his own:)

I like Cameron Hanekom and I like Evan Roos. I think I was the first person on this board to mention both of these players . . . and I would love to see both of them playing for the Bokke in the same team . . . but for me, Hanekom is in a different league to everyone else.

If I was Springbok coach or selector, PSdT, Siya, Wiese, Roos, Louw, Wiese, the Tshitukas, Venter and the du Preez's would be all be fighting it out for two jerseys . . . because Cam Hanekom is the first name on my team sheet.

Given how highly I rate the likes of Damian Willemse, Aphelele Fassi and Sacha F-M, that is saying something!

Wilco had his man retreating, but got called once for walking round. Always a marginal thing. Steenkamp was solid but neutral.

I thought Hanekom had a great game, Akker made a difference, Goosen was influential despite one blooper early. The Bools wings, apart from Arendse were defensively vulnerable.

For me the player of the game was the Benetton flyhalf Albornoz who beat 7 tackles, followed by Ratave.

My earliest mention of Hanekom

Hanekom this time with a break around the scrum and a lovely touch on the stab down the touchline. Penalty to the Irish though as Papier plays the man and not the ball.

Yes, Wiese had previous. His discipline is what lets him dowm, but to be fair, the same is true of his closest competitor Evan Roos. Cameron Hanekom might well be the long-term solution.

Geez he was good in that shit show by Jake’s B team.

What stood out for me more than anything is the strength of the lad. He is not bulky but fuck me he is strong

The only other credible performances were from Sebastian de Klerk on the wing, Aker at 2, Gumede at 7 and the young lock pair of Swanepoel and JF v Heerden

Shocking performance by Immelman at 13, he was slow and out of position, got severely exposed defensively. Poor lad has hardly played any rugby and when he has it’s been at 15 or on the wing.

The rest of the backs were not much better

I then posted an earlier mention of mine which had you gulping . . . but instead of admitting you had egg all over your stupid fat face again, you searched for an even earlier post (which didn't even mention Hanekom's name) and now you're pretending you haven't made a gigantic fool of yourself . . . again!
