Yup, Kolisi is invisible like the President from racing said.

This guy had no impact on the game. Masuku just could get the backline going and again, see why Rassie didn't pick him.

I still think for all the the good some black players have made, it is showing that there are still quotas in the.

Machunu had a few good runs with ball in hand but man, did he get destroyed in the scrum. Suppose to be Machunu, Bongi and Trevvva and yet they gave away so many penalties and got shunted around.

Then what is the deal with the 15. He was useless for the baby boks and had no impact in his last two games.

I definitely think there is a quota policy at the Saarks

Once again, SA teams prove they can't compete at the ruck. The opposition gets quick, clean ball through multiple phases, while SA teams rely on counter-attacks.

We need forwards that can compete on the ground and a specialist fetcher/jackler.
There should be designated ball carriers and a focus on selecting forwards that are better on the ground. The Boks need to stop over obsession with runners. Runners are off no use with quick clean rucking.

With over 200 rucks per game, they far outweigh scrums and lineouts. If you can disrupt a team at the ruck, they will struggle to build phases. Quick ruck ball through multiple-phase play is how to draw in the opposition creating space around the ruck or out wide.

There must be concerns about the talent pool as many of these new players on display either need more game time, a better game plan - or they are just not very good.

How many of the guys in that Sharks team were listed as Bok hopefuls on the many lists produced in this board? ...are we starting to agree that those lists are too long and that it doesn't help just assuming everyone is Test capable.

It also proves the point they can’t go out on Saturday night by themselves, These games don’t help players and I’m sure it encourages the Frogs. Youngsters need to be phased in. The introduction of Sasha worked…he was mentally ready and playing in an experienced team.

Four youngsters even against Georgia is the max….not because the match matters, but because they learn nothing outside the test team structure.

The grade for becoming a Bok hopeful is extremely low. A few good runs and some hefty tackles and suddenly a guy is a Bok and it's such mystery why he isn't there. Very few guys this season have actually held their hands up. In fact, I can count them on one hand. On another thread I asked where the props and locks were....I got yet more lists in response, some of the names on that list played for the Sharks today. I didn't see any Bok worthy performances.

Saffex rated many of these players as shoo-ins, but they got exposed badly at club level.

The players might not have much confidence by the time the Bok international season rolls around.

Ellis Park, was empty, even family & friends were absent. I know the stadium is deep in the heart of District 9, but playing with only 13 spectators .............................

"Four youngsters even against Georgia is the max….not because the match matters, but because they learn nothing outside the test team structure." Exactly. There are actually very few Bok worthy players coming through. And they should be phased in. Not chucked into a few nothing games with a bunch of never-will-be's. Apparently this isn't. I'm non knowledge haha

The only young Bok hopefuls in the Sharks side were Hooker, Julius and Manu Tsituka who all played well so stop speaking shit This despite Hooker playing out of position on the wing and where Julius ended up for much of the game because of injuries else where Mchunu is 4th in line at loosehead so hardly a potential Bok starter, he was good in general play Rahl is a good prospect at lock and was solid. Hanro Jacobs at tighthead had all of about 15 min off the bench

Hooker did nothing. He didn't mess up but he wasn't near the game enough to even be given a rating. Wait...he did mess up one offload instead of hanging on to it when the Sharks made a break. I thought Mchunu was another one on your list? Has he been booted now? Julius did what exactly? After that involvement where the 15 scored, Julius didn't do much either. Hey, remember when you tipped Masuku as a potential Bok too?
