Sharks, with 5 minutes to go now have a lineout inside Ulster 22.

Can they make something from it?

And they get a penalty right in front of the posts!!

This could be the game

Jordan kicks it and the Sharks lead.

Unrecognisable from the shambles that was the first half.

Sharks win it!

Good comeback. Big improvement in the second half and credit to some of the replacements . . . JJ, Mchunu and Phepsi all made a very positive impact.

Well they rose from the dead to win it, but it begs the question why they're starting so poorly. The bench made a difference.

The Saffa teams finishing the season strongly.

Nice to see

Esterhuizen was good...well from the parts of the game that I saw anyway

Yes. I left the TV on while I took the dogs out for 10 minutes, When I cam back I decided to carry on watching and yes, I'm glad I did.

Now Ou Maaik will come tell us how terrible Esterhuizen was, but I'll be in bed by then.

Lol Paks

What I know is that Sharks are a totally different team when Williams is at 9.

It's like he gets them into a dangerous rhythm or something. I don't know exactly what it is but its very noticeable.

Is he injured or something?

He was carrying a niggle, but I thought he was over it when he came on from the bench last week. Don't know what's going on now. The scrumhalf hugely influences the pace of your play. Jayden is just bog ordinary at the moment.

I'd love to know the average difference between Jayden and Williams clearance speeds.

What I notice about Williams is that he's generally just a few paces behind the carrier. Outside of rucks speed alone, there are so many other advantages that flow from that.

Faf and Jayden have about the same ruck clearance speed but Faf brings a whole bunch more.

I'm just struggling to see Jayden's value right now.

Apparently he is suffering from a neck injury. They want to give it more time to settle. He should be back for the playoffs.

Williams was not available

Sharks were piss poor at protecting the ball at the base. Jayden is not decisive enough at the base - too passive leading to turnovers

He has been off this season - is a better player than that

Hooker was good - I liked his back of the hand offload - showed the touch that I’m after in him.

Jenkins was good and Hanro Jacobs was an improvement on Koch at 3

Good comeback from the Sharks - Eben was a big loss forcing Vincent to move to 4 who is clearly not a lock

Not sure why the Sharks never had another lock on tour. Slabbert was on the bench but they clearly have little faith in him, starting Vincent at lock and not bringing Slabbert on off the bench
