I cannot see how the Springboks can score a try on Saturday - the backline is sterile and not producing anything of consequence.- and am predicting that the Wallabies will score three converted tries and a penalty.  The Springboks will be lucky if they can get 4 converted penalties.

The prediction is therefore as follows:-

Wallabies -   24

Springboks - 12

Mike getting all pessimistic again. No Mike I make it Boks by 10 - because they can  - please note the real reason Ek!

Mike you have to understand that a wounded Bok is a dangerous animal. So many times have the Boks bounced back from adversity.Sure there are concerns and a lot needs to happen but good old Bok fighting spirit will do the trick.

Will the loafers beast and jannie please front up, roll up your sleeves and do some work!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You two have lived long enough on the work of Bisse - it reminds me of wee matfield - 107 kg - who lived off the work of Bakkies.  Also Frans Steyn please wake up from that deep slumber! This backline should move better and the threat on the wings with Hougaard there will be greater. Pienaar must seize his chance or Vermaak is going to come into the picture

Give Lambie a good run in the second half and if the match is won bring on Goosen for experience sake and to see how he goes.

Louw also needs to spend  a decent amount of time on the park - replacing Duane after 10 minutes in second half - unless Duane is for some rason having a blinder - then rather replace Alberts. Liebenberg should have started hence bring him on with 30 minutes to go.

Use the bench wisely Meyer. Keep an eye on the pap bulle Kruger. He should be okay against Oz but even this might prove difficult for him. If he is struggling bring on the much maligned Flip - you know the penalty machine that isnt.  Hahahahahaha

I think people are giving Aus too much credit. They have just had their asses handed to them twice by the AB's. No, I reckon there have been some good changes to the Springbok side and they are going to surprise a few people. Boks to win by 6...just wait and see!

i think too many people are not giving the wallabies enough credit, so what if they lost to the All Blacks, hardly the first or last team to do so, but given that the Boks have had draws with an england team who were rebuilding after the RWC and the pumas, u would have to say those results were just as bad or worse IMO, after all the All Blacks are IRB ranked No1 while the pumas are IRB ranked No8.

its true that the Boks have made some changes, but vermeulen first time test cap has just returned from injury and played under two currie cup games. goosen on the bench and has played 50mins of rugby at currie cup level after over a 4 month injury break, o_O
these are all things im not convinced will work against the wallabies in their backyard.

wallabies also has hooper playing who was the spXV No1 fetcher and who was spXV 2nd best fetcher??? liam gill who is on the wallabies bench and given that the breakdowns has been one of the weakest part of the Boks in every test in 2012, and if the Boks dont change their plans, then they will lose big time.

both teams have not preformed in the IRC so far, and both are relatively even with changes made for their mandla plate challenge, but playing at home IMO gives the wallabies a slight edge.
dont forget that deans record against the Boks is amongst one of the best for the wallabies.

wallabies by 9pts.

Morne Steyn will probably be his average self. I am not that optimisitic for this game or the next.

Hopefully Johan Goosen starts at 10 for both home games, and then Pat Lambie is at 15. I think our backline will be significantly different with these 2 changes.

Wallabies by 12.

wallabies 27 - Boks 13

Unless the breakdown plan, or breakdown execution changes for the Boks, it will be the Wallabies by 12+ points. Obviously I'm hoping what Beeno said happens, and the Boks are like a cornered Animal ready to rumble.....
