knee guards. Apparently too severe knocking of the knees is considered a very serious risk to their players!

Beeno: your post this time is even more difficult/impossible to decipher than usual - what are you going on about? Something about the Chiefs travelling to SA, that we already know the rest of the post is an incoherent babel.
We have various translations of your usual babel:
1. Refs fault = stormers/Boks lost the game2. We won the stats = stormers/boks lost the game3. Mattfield was pap = Bulls won the game4. KBBS = Kiwis know more than Boks or Bok Supporter
But this thing about knee pads is new babel.  Don't bother to explain it though I am sure you have more important things to do

The Chiefs do not have a good record in SA and that is a fact and goes back two years.    In 2013 the hype was incredible - yet they lost against the Stormers and managed to beat the Kings in a game that was derided even by New Zealand supporters on this site.
Last year they amanged to draw bothy their games - ie against a Bulls team whose performances were sub-standard and against the Cheetahs who was not up to scratch.
This year they are up against the Stormers and the Sharks and I have a feeling they are going to lose both.   The Stormers are rampart at the moment and they have a very strong forward combination.
If players like Cruden and Williams mess up badly - like they did on Friday - the Chiefs are going to be badly mauled.  An interesting line-up on Saturday is the one of S-B Williams against De Allende.   If De Allende does with Williams what he did with Francois Steyn - and there is a serious possibility that he will - things are going to look ugly for the Chiefs - sad to say insofar as they are concerned.

Chiefs will have two hard games on the road for sure. I am not worried about SBW but if Cruden continues to have mixed performances both he and SBW will suffer. Chiefs let a game slip between their fingers when they lost to the Highlanders. This should ensure they are motivated in SA. Whose the chef by the way of do kiwi teams do their own cooking now, lol
By the way SBW received 28 fantasy rugby points so it must not have been too bad. De Allande was up against two back who had just come back from Japan so we know they would be below par. He had a good game but is the begining of a high level of performance for him or a one off? Interesting sub-p lot to the game.
It is a long season & Bulls, Sharks & the stormers all have to go on the road so we will see how it all pans out. SA teams better wear their shin pads - maybe this is what Beeno was babbling about

There must be a difference of opinion on the issue of S-B Williams and De Allende in NZ.  In the NZ Herald fantasy game they gave Williams 8 points and De Allende 42.
The problem here is De Allende is a youngster and a very, very difficult customer to deal with.   If Williams can match up with him - things will be OK - but Williams on Friday looked lost against Treeby and he will have to up his game massively if he wants to eb competitive.
Cruden under pressure is never a nice sight to see - and he will be under pressure.  It would perhaps be better to play the very promising Damian MacKenzie at flyhalf in the  SA games and forget about Cruden for the tour.
