Bob it is very sad. If you look at parliament and the riff-raff there its even sadder.Surely we cant be worse than 2016!

@Blob. That is no BS. All of the Welsh tries came from small mistakes by Ireland. Kudos to the Welsh for the way that they pounced in those mistakes. Both teams defended well and attacked right up to the final whistle.
@Beeno. The sooner everybody admits that although the politics play a big role in the shyte that our rugby is in the better. The blame for the crap lies with the rugby people first and foremost. Our coaches are crap. Our players are a bunch of prima donnas and they are not as special as they like to believe. Our supporters are delusional as to our abilities and the media are not as knowledgeable as they believe. They all think that they have the answers. I do not have the answers but what I do know is that we have to stop trying to be so fancy and elaborate. We and the coaches should stop with all the fancy talk and BS like pride and playing for the jersey etc, etc. Rugby was never meant to be a complicated game. We should stop all the fancy shyte and get back to the basics.
Stuff all the ball in hand and BS and running rugby and kicking game BS. Coach the players in decision making to enable the players to play the situation. Kick when it is necessary and to attack with the ball in hand when it is necessary, etc, etc.
Guess what. It is not only SA players who cannot play the situation. We are just much more crap at it. Why did it take until after half time for England to understand what the Italians were doing the other day. Why were the players to thick to understand what Italy were doing? The ref was 100% correct when he told Hartley that he should ask his coach what was going on and that he, the ref, was not their coach. Imagine if it was SA that we're playing Italy in that game. None of our coaches would have clicked what was going on. They would just have blamed the ref after the loss.

Cera, it's the politics that put the rugga admin in the state it's in. We've been sliding ever since Brian van Rooyen started his sh!t to get rid of Louis Luyt. I'm surprised we weren't this bad years ago...that's the only thing giving me hope...we managed to be sort of competitive regardless of this...we might be better again.
11 Mar 2017, 14:01#9
The Brian van Rooyen saga has nothing to do with the fact that we were saddled with the likes of Nolis Marais and other crap coaches. It has nothing to do with the fact that we do not have a single flyhalf of note or that most of our players lack the basic decision making skills and the list goes on and on. I am not acquitting the politicians at all. I just do not think that they're at the core of our issues.

And with that Wales have also cruised past SA in the World Rugby rankings.
SA down to 7th.

The Stormers team and Sharks teams of 2017 could probably beat the useless rabble of Coetzee Springboks 2016.
Most of our coaches are utterly useless. I would not be surprised if some of us could coach the backline better than them.
Coetzee is, without a doubt, one of the most useless coaches we have. He will probably take credit for the improvement of the backline play thus far in 2017.
The question is when the pressure is one will the Stormers and Sharks revert to crash ball.
SARU is filled with administrators that do not understand rugby or general administration.

Well done those Weshmen !And indeed Cloudy one has to admire the way the English skilfully avoided the ABs lo these many years .Maybe the constant beatdown from the ABs was too much to bear.

Nah Blob ,the Poms were so frightened of meeting the ABs they tanked their own World Cup pool !They avoided mentioning them whenever they could ,even in their ads 'ala' Voldemport !

Cerudunce windpomp as usual you took a lot of words to say very little. Whata windpomp!
There are many reasons for our declining standards of play. It is not that players are not produced. It's that they are lost overseas, they are not developed properly and our sides are not selected on merit and neither are our coaches. Anyone remember of pdv! Hahahahaha I still laugh at the things this clown dsaid. But at bottom the problem is we do not espouse merit as the guiding principle and are refuse to do what is so blatantly obvious to improve the situation. I and others have listed the various problems.
Now as for the hapless wee abs everyone should still realize a half good Bok side is too good for the wee abs.England will whip them right now and more's the pity they did not meet this bunch of Poms who took the very wee Scots apart. England would mince these fancy boy abs and their ballet rugby. Face facts kbbs its no use being blowhards knowing you have not faced the Poms.
Beeno keeping it real as always and offering much needed perspective !

The poor Itailians have lost all 4 matches in the 6N this year ... again. To think that they thumped Coetzee and his Goats last year certainly puts things in perspective.
Haaaaaahahahahaaa!!
I hope the French are on form when they arive here later this year.
Would be great to see the Goats plummet even further on the rankings.

If it ment the end of quotas in players and managemnet I would accept the Boks loosing every game this year. Unfortunately these racists running the country don't care a fig about the Boks doing their best and neither do they care about the country as their only interest is looting.
