what a disaster weekend for Fantasy Rugby

Really low scores. Anyone had players in that sharks chiefs game lol disaster. I had two players with negatives. The amazing folau scored 0! Did he not play? Explains it if he diddnt. Hey if you made him captain you got 1 pt! Yayyy. I currently have 313 solid considering.

 The scrum penalties erased a lot of points, then the red & yellow cards erased points and in the case of the reds meant no point accumulated of course. A really tough weekend.
I can't believe Folau will stay at 0 as he scored a try and had a try assist. He also had a very long break after beating a few players. Strange scoring but I believe it will be corrected.
My score is at 385 but all scores will change a lot. There probably will be a lot of posters in the 400s.

 This indeed was a disaster - all the key players made rubbsih scores and I> will have to use my wildcard to get something re-established.  This was the worst I have done in Foxsport from the time I started participating in the game.   I hated to see what hapopened on the rugby field this weekend - it was not rugby - it was a disaster we saw in most games.  bad news if this is what will happen in the remainder of Super 15 
I will have to make some key changes for next week in any event and looking at the issue superficially - the changes are -
*  getting Kitshoff from the bench into the starting line-up;*  trading Hattingh and bringing in Etzebeth;*  trading Arnold and bring in Sam Whitelock;*  trading White and try to bring in Reinach;*  getting De Allende from the bench into the starting line-up; *  getting Naholo from the bench into the starting line-up.
I may not have to make two lock trades if Ruan Botha starts for the Stormers.     

However, the above would leave me with with no transfers whatsoever - hence my feeling that I may be forced to use my Wildcard before I intended to in Round 8/9.  

 CleverMike: I used my wildcard this weekend, we will see how that goes. Last year I left it too late & struggled with an average team so the weakness and low scores accumulated over too many weeks. I will see how it goes now but this weekend was a tough one. 
We will have to see if other leagues did as poorly. Hopefully we will hold our ranking.

Elliot is gone for me. May take out folau for nadolo. A savea got 53. So hope his injury is not so serious.

 If you look at the ESPN stats - which often correlates with the foxsport point system - there is still a lot of updating to be done - so we may yet see an improvement iro the points gained by members of our league.  
   

The byes in round 8 and 9 will mean we all have to make our trades carefully. Crusaders are no effected, but Canes will have their bye in week 9. 
Swapping Nadolo for Folau makes sense based on performance and also the fact that the Tahs have a bye in round 8.

I wouldn't sell Folau just yet. There's definitely some issue with his scoring. No way he scored 0 points. More like 60 or 70. Wait until they correct it.

Rooinek: I agree there is a major correction to be made with his score. I had him as my captain so I am hopeful. He scored a try, a major break and gave the last pass for a second try. I did not see his scores go up after any of these event so for sure he will score far more than zero.

Some issue with Folous score. He scored a try and numerous tackle breaks and offloads.  Should be a major correction coming. He had a great game and his foxsport stats show all zeros. Great game by the way.

Yes, at least we had a good game after the debacle that was the Mighty Chiefs vs. Sharks game.

 Might still take out Folau, as they have a bye in Rd8 . Kriel ain't a strong starter solid if you need to bench. 
Going to take out Elliot for probably Coles
Koch in for Alexander or B Franks
Still have to take out P Du Toit Broadhurst maybe if hes available

 Yes, there will be 3 trades as far as I can tell. The rules are:

Once the competition gets under way, you'll be able to trade up to a maximum of 3 players after the conclusion of each round (and up to 4 in rounds where three or more Super Rugby teams have a bye), including the league head-to-head finals, right up to the round 18 league Grand Final, with a maximum total of 57 trades available. You can make all 3 (or 4) trades in one go if desired, to make best use of your remaining salary. Unused trades awarded for each round are not transferable and will be forfeited.

 On the match centre bit it says Folau scored 82 .

 well never make a mistake of benching gun players for a solid replacement ever again lol. Ah well always this Friday. Prob drop to 3rd in our league.

 Folau points give me a total of 561 with validation of the whole round still to come. This would mean i have edged out Sasuke San after a back and forth dual that has changed almost by the minute. He has 516 at the moment.
Still, these points will change again & as we saw last week the final validation can be as much as 100 points so it is not over yet.  We have some high scorers this round, e.g. Juicers has 664 points so far.
