What can one say about the Hapless Stormers?

The only logical thing to say is they deserved to lose.   There are various reasons why that can be said, but I would just confine it to the clearly obvious issues:-

*   A team who has a bench flyhalf that failed with four penalty kicks at goal - some real sitters - needs to lose.  How they can persist with Coleman - who is not better than a Vodacom Cup player and when he came on the Stormers were doomed.

*   When Springboks in the team lose ball possession repeatedly - at least one of which led to a Cheetahs try - the players should be identified and dealt with Harshly.  The Chief problems in the team centers around Kolisi and Burger - the latter buggered up at least three times in that regard.  That being said the ball handling of most of the players was at times atrocious.   

*   Their line outs went pear-shaped because neither of their hookers have a clue how to make accurate throw-ins.  In a number of cases the balls went straight over the line outs because of inaccuracy.

*   There defense was putrid and for players to throw their hands in the air when they missed tackles are serious jokes.   

*   Aimless kicks give opponents the opportunity to run at the team and the defence was not up to standard.  The kicking game of the Stormers were putrid - the joke is when loosies try and take over the kicking role.

*   Other than Vermeulen the other loosies do not know how to play at breakdowns - how to protect balls at breakdowns and how to effect turnovers.
