Kankowski played for the Sharks this weekend and did not do much. Francois Steyn is in Japan - wher I hope he will stay for keeps. Unfortunately for the Sharks he should be back before the end of March.

Pity on Kankowski thought he was an amazing talent few years ago. Might of lost confidence. Hey you never know could pick him self up.

Kankan is a good player still - but coming back from Japan is a huge problem - players coming from there takes about a month at minimum to get back to standard playing in Super 15.

Frans and JP are back in training with the Sharks - both will play in the next match......the Sharks need them badly

If Steyn performed worse than he did last year at center - he had a record that is best to be forgotten as it was so poor - because of his sojourn in Japan, then the Sharks will be worse off than they were thus far this season. JP when he came back from Japan last year - was totally without pace and took more than a month to recover part of the pace he lost.
Playing in Japan always has had a negative impact on players - when they come back they are worse than they were before departure.
We will have to see whether Steyn is any good - he was bad last year so it will not take much to show improvement - yet I doubt there will be any.

KAn Kan scored a nice try. He is of the bent read type. Good in the open anda bit pap in the close quarter stuff.
You need to craft a role for him. Rovi ng number 8

Mike you must surely realise by now that your take on Frans is about as accurate at Moz's take on Matfield......all a load of shit

I live in reality - he was the worst 12 in any SA franchise last year. A player who at center in 17 games made exactly one line break - and beating only 8 defenders, while hogging the ball - and losing the ball in possession 32 times - with a missed tackle ratio of 26% - while not scoring a single try, has been seriously sh!t all year. He literally killed the Sharks backline.
Hopefully he will improve this year.
By the way Fransie scored only one charge down try since his return from France in 2012 - so he was sh!t from that time.

Horse shit, you don't have a clue what you are talking about. Frans was good last year as he will be this year. Easily our best 12 after Jan last year

With that record I gave above there is just one way to describe his performances - Frans was a disgrace. Sorry to differ from you - but he was about the worse attacking 12 in any SA franchise and the second worse defending center. Take some doing for a Super 15 player to get that bad.

The record is his achievements - or rather lack of it - listed above by me. Above al l the lack of ball sense and non-existent reading of the game - is diabolical.
