Not sure what that implosion was about - sublime for 20 min then the arrogance, entitlement kicked in. They were playing like what they have been hyped up to be in the first 20. Hopefully they have learnt the lesson that being a great side requires humility and hard work not entitlement, it has to be earnt every game. Telling was Siya’s celebration when he scored - it had we are invincible written all over it.

It became a train wreck - errors, conceding loads of penalties, owned at the breakdown, fucked up line outs and the ease with which they exposed us out wide with simple long passes. Fucking awful performance

That was the same arrogance you display when you select three Bok sides and tell us they're all world beaters. We can't even scratch together a balanced backrow at the moment.

Dave

I do not know what happened to the team - but think team selection was a problem snd for that Erasms deserve the blame. Some combinations just does not work and there were too many of those in evidence yesterday. .

Dave, the more I read your posts, the more I realise that you actually don't a clue what you're talking about.

Your summation of yesterday is "Va Bokke got arrogant."

The arrogance was leaving Pollard and Faf out of the squad….the arrogance was selecting the team for next week before the first match…..the arrogance is all the stupid gimmicks….the arrogance is not building off the established team.. ..the arrogance is talking about having 50 test players…..the arrogance is staying with losers you like eg Libbok.

What happened on the field was hubris…..followed by concern ….followed by panic. And the stroke of luck that saved Dr Lucky in so many matches never happened.

What did we do that was arrogant, miss tackles, lose our lineout ball, break even in the scrums…..that’s arrogance? What exactly was different in the last 60 minutes to the first 20 minutes that was the sudden appearance of arrogance?

Well Buttplug I guess I can take comfort from the fact that you read my posts. I don’t bother with your ignorant shit

Moz it does not surprise me at all with your pathetic attempt to discredit Rassie at every opportunity - so now the arrogance is all on him and not the players - how fucking childish

Seems you need schooling as per usual - with arrogance comes a drop in intensity and effective execution which is exactly what happened to the Boks after their sublime start

Dropped passes, misdirected passes, missed tackles, poor line outs

But according to you it’s all on Rassie - you are a joke

There certainly was lack of intensity that mushroomed after we got the early lead. But there is a difference between complacency and arrogance. Arrogance is not rating your opponent, as Dr Lucky himself said it’s all on the coaches.

"When a team loses like that, the coaches must be on the chopping block, the coaches must be under pressure," he declared, signaling a readiness to face the fallout.’

It was a distracted period with weird choices, but at least he accepted culpability. Are you saying even that isn’t honest?

Oh for sure the coaching staff have to take some of the blame

Well of course it was arrogance - they are a highly hyped up team and justifiably so. The way they started confirmed the hype and with that the arrogance and complacency set in. It’s the first thing I thought when I saw Siya celebrating his try. We are invincible

They were ripping Oz to shreds and clearly not rating their opponents - arrogance

Hopefully it’s a hard lesson learnt
