Whiteley toast...who will captain the Boks?

 
Well ... for a non test starter ... a provincial player ... that won't see 2019 ... it sure looks as though he's coming on nicely.

He's taken to the captaincy like a duck to water. A natural leader ... inspiring others to up their standard. He's made a massif difference to the Goats. Not to shabby for one that could never make the grade.

I'm sure this won't be the last time Mozart does a 180 on his previous statements.

It's what he does ... and taking credit for everything is also just the way he rolls.

Mozart ... I didn't attack you. I merely pointed out a fact. Don't tell me you actually expected me to cover for you ... or to lie for you ... ?? Why would I do that? Did you think that I had joined your band of gimps and that I had an obligation to you ... that it was an unspoken rule ... part of the fine print ... as a gimp?

My issue was with Comrade Tit. It had nothing to do with you. My issue was with his repetitive nonsense ... posting the same old horseshyte over and over again ... day in day out ... and what broke the camels back was when he started claiming innocence (regarding your so called truce) ... all the while attacking you at every turn. It was blatant and irritated the hell out of me. I voiced my irritation. I wasn't defending you. Comrade Tit thought so little of us ... fully convinced that we wouldn't notice his niggling remarks ... and that just added to his steaming pile of horseshyte that I would no longer endure. 

Perhaps you saw that as siding with you.

Yes we were civil for a spell but that changed with your first "TurnCut" comment. It's not a name that offends me in any way ... but it makes it clear enough that our civility is over.

I can live with that.

Moffie has been known to actually do a 360 degree. Handre Pollard is one such example. Moffie used to slag Pollard off at every opportunity, then when Pollard showed some form suddenly Moffie pretended that he was the one who single-handedly discovered Pollard and now that Pollard's form has slumped again, Moffie is back on the bandwagon he started on where he slags Pollard off and pretends he never rated him.

It's all a bit pathetic that this self-important and puffed up old toad can't actually admit he ever got anything wrong . . . especially when you consider he's a complete rugby noob who doesn't know the difference between an openside and a blindside flank or the difference between a loosehead or a tighthead prop!

 I can still remember when Meyer refused to select any Lions players for the WC and the reason for it probably was that they would not have fitted in with the BS he was using as a "game plan" so he selected from the hospital ward players rather than picking Lions  players.  
There is one other reason - virtually n one of the Meyer picks had real attacking ability and no backline play other than kicking by the half backs and crashballing by the 12 was acceptable.    This was largely the result of deficient ball skills which in Meyer's own words made backline usage impossible.   Meyer never even thought of selecting players with the necessary ball skills and forgetting about the hospital ward cases and older players who by 2015 lost the skills they were use to earlier in their careers..
One  of the total supporters iro that Meyer idiocy was Mozart.   At the end of Super rugby last year Mozart went to town about the loss in the final in the game against the Hurricanes keeping up his attack on Lions players.   This year about April he switched his support to the Lions players - forgetting all the denigration of the players over the previous two years.

Dave, sadly Marcell Coetzee is probably lost to SA rugby. He needed to play in this series to get his caps up to 30 so he could qualify as an overseas based player but he was crocked so it's doubtful he'll ever get another cap . . . unless he comes back home of if SARU bend the rules.

I'm also not wild about it but for different reasons to you. If it was me I'd make it a lot simpler . . . if you're not playing for a SA franchise in Super Rugby or the Currie Cup, you're not playing for the Springboks either.

Short and simple.

Not only will my way encourage promising youngsters to stay in SA , that way we also don't pick disasters like Francois Hougaard based on what Poms are telling us about his form.

So Was Whiteley only out for three weeks....nope I guess not: .. Whiteley captained the Boks in the first two Test against France and missed the final match in Johannesburg because of his groin problem, which also forced him to miss the rest of the Super Rugby campaign.'
