My gardener planted weed in about five different spots on the plot just weeks before the rule change.

When news broke about the change in legislation he promptly took me for a tour.

They're too young to remember the regime , so I call them born frees :)

Ou Maaik, I believe my initial response on this thread was in keeping with the spirit of your opening post, but that perfectly harmless post of mine was subsequently attacked first by Baboon-ou, then Draad and then Moffie.
I suspect my mere presence on any thread - even a conciliatory one like this - gets Moffie and his Servile Gimps red-faced and frothing at the mouth, so it's probably best I stop posting on this thread. Good luck with your peace making efforts.

plum

I have four Jack Russells - one of which was given to me as a gift in 2002.   He got so lonely I bought him a companion and she had two litters of 6 each and I gave away five of each litter,   The reining two was so small at birth - I took the other little ones away and let them drink from their mother - otherwise they would have died from starvation.   Be it as it may - I ended up having four Jack Rusells now.   Howevre, Jack Russells were initially bred by the Duke of Bedford - whose surname is Russell (Russell Square in London was named after the family) and the properties in the area still belongs to the family) - but I believe the Duke of Bedford hated human beings and left the Jack Russell dog breed as a revenge on mankind.

I must admit the mother of the youngsters is amazingly clever.  She developed a special talent in manhandling humans.   She works out things very well.   One day there was a show on TV on monkeys - and she started  barking at them - ran around to see whether the monkeys were in fact behind the TV - could not find them and came back and barked at the monkeys again.

However, a special talent she has is manhandling humans.   She has a special way in doing that and is normally 100% successful.  She taught the others all she knows about that aspect and the humans around all suffer as a result.

Be it as it may adore all four Jack Russells anyway - knowing I m their toy which they manipulate every day.

When in England, I had Jack Russells on every side! One particular Jack would always scratch and dig at the fence. Quite the little escape artist as it turned out, he finally got into my garden. Fortunate for him my two loafers were so accommodating. No treats were earned that day for guard duty.

The only small dogs I've had or grew up with was a Pomeranian and Beagle. The former was clearly fashioned in hell, the latter was a little nippy as a pup but very good natured. He could never be let off a leash, always followed his nose. So much so one could be forgiven for thinking he was blind.

Wardad, you are too close to the fire, take a step back. I'm not too fond of the death penalty either, but I sense too much tension from your side of The Force.

Mike

We have a sport line German Shepherd that is probably the smartest dog I've seen.

Learnt how to be a gun dog without any training...took him all of one outing understand what his role is.

How he instinctively understood to wait for the shot before chasing is a total mystery. Especially considering that he'd normally just run like a maniac after any rabbit he sees.

Since that first outing, when he sees the rabbit gun(haha pellet gun) in my hand, he immediately takes up position next to me and begins scanning the area...and when I stop moving he crouches and waits for the shot.

I'm not sure what a rabbit gun dog is, but I'm pretty sure that's quite close.

Had some Irish friends over and they witnessed him in action. They would not believe that he wasnt trained.

Moffie talking about other people bragging is like Bozo BLOTUS talking about other people having inflated opinions of themselves . . . or Jacob Zuma talking about other people being corrupt . . . or Michael Jackson talking about other people being kiddy-fiddlers . . . or Baboon-ou talking about other people being brainwashed or very stupid .

How many more times do we have to learn about Saaiman's 'famous old family' and their incredible works of charity. And how about the party thrown by some 30 year old underling (lyingmike) attended by the Chairman of the Reserve bank....is anybody believing all this puffery. Apparently the 'golden rules' that covered the descendants of this family of blue bloods nobody has ever heard of, didn't cover lying.

Staying on topic.

Mickey, forgot to mention my lawn also suffers an attack of armyworm once a year around Feb/March. The consequences are devastating. All brought about by moths laying their eggs in the lawn so that one morning I wake up to see my pride and joy is one sea of fawn not lawn. I've learnt to be vigilant and a good telltale sign of worm presence is to watch out for Magpies hanging around on the lawn.

Are you jealous by any chance?   What I write is factual and true - so keep it up and perhaps you should start spelling surnames correctly.
