SARU met yesterday after a meeting with Cosato and decided on the CC competition for next year, made a mess of the Kings issue and the big quiet is about the appointment of the Springbok coach.
That could either mean that the issue is not important and that they are awaiting instructions from Zuma - who made an unholy mess when he fired Nene as Minister of Finance and is busy with threatening the rest of the Cabinet members with firing if he does not get his way - and in his book rugby is a minor issue as a result, or they are deciding with whom to negotiate an appointment.
Apparently SARU realizes that they have to cover themselves from the public backlash if they appoint Coetzee as coach and that the sponsors also have similar feelings on the issue.
