I give you good marks for ingenuity Dave….we now have two versions of Rassie: the full Monty, and Rassie pulling the strings from a distance. Trouble is Rassie was only banned in November 2021 and again in November 22, after the French and Irish tests. 

My 8 and 2 stat for Nienaber reflects the period when Rassie was banned, minus  the English test in the week he was banned and the Welsh test we lost,  that looks like Harrassmiss quota fishing to me.

So 10 tests where Harrassmiss’ influence wasn’t toxic. I agree Nienaber isn’t the complete coach, but his 8 and 2 record shows what this team can accomplish when there are no distractions,

Nienhaber is a good Defence coach and that gives him a good foundation to become a Good HC…The Rassie / Nienhaber relationship, was mostly Dominated by Rassie…so whichever way a person spins it, most of the Bok Blunders, is Rassie,s Baby….That being said, Rassie is not completely useless…and if this 1 on 1 time with the Players can Bear fruits again, then by all means….as long as he doesn’t get himself banned again : )

Moz you miss my point - Rassie was still pulling the strings when he was banned - just from a distance And I’m not only talking about his period of being banned I’m including the whole period post the Lions series until the EOYT when Rassie confirmed he was returning hands on If you believe Neinaber is a coach, I can’t help you then. Rassie’s clout as a coach was evidenced when he took over the role - no Bok coach has ever had that kind of impressive run then he ran as he always does Rassie is now back in full flight with the squad as there is a challenge for him to be the first coach to defend a WC Watch this space

Dave trying to use facts to show what an astute coach Rassie is doesn't work with the Mozzzzquito and Card. They are both fully emotionally invested in trashing Rassie. 

They trashed him after he was named Workd coach if the year. They trashed the Bok after they were named world team of the year and they trashed Du Toit after he was named World player of the year. 

In rugby terms has there ever been a bigger series of blunders ? I can't think of one.
