@Wardad. If you say that they guy was crap, and I am not saying that he was brilliant, because HE lost a test, than he was actually quite brilliant to be taking on a test side of 15 men all on his own. LOL. You also cannot mock him for scoring the try because of the idiot who rackled the defender. Wasn't his fault now, was it?
@Rooinek. I do not totally agree with you about Tim Dlulane. He was actually a very promising flanker whose career was cut short by a serious neck injury. He should probably not have been in the Bok side in 2004. It was just too soon for him to be included. He was another victim of the quota system that saw players of colour in the Bok side way too soon. He played for the Mpumalanga Pumas and got selected for the Boks, and then moved to teh Bulls the next year. He did play very well and everybody was expecting him to be in contention for a spot in the Bok side again, until he had the neck injury in 2006. He did not just disappear into thin air. He got involved in the Bulls' structures on various levels and with distinction. He has recently been named as the replacement for the famous Wynie "Gemmerkat" Strydom as the Bulls Team Manager, and it had nothing to do with him being someone of colour who is being pushed again. He was the logical choice from within the Bulls structures as Wynie's successor. Not trying to knock you on this. It was just interesting to me, because I have met him when I was involved with one of the Pumas rugby clubs and had frequent contact with a lot of them. I have met him a few times and he was always, to my mind, a very likeable and very hardworking person, and it was sad when his career was ended.

Tim Dlulane will replace long-serving Wynie Strydom as Bulls Super Rugby and Currie Cup team manager next year.
Having represented the Bulls, Blue Bulls and Springboks as a loose forward, Dlulane is well poised to take on the position of managing the first team.
Blue Bulls Company CEO Barend van Graan looks forward to the new appointment.
“Tim has been with us for many years in which time he has worked hard and smart. His dedication towards the company, relationship with players, organisational strength and knowledge of the game resulted in him being an obvious choice.”
Dlulane’s CV is an impressive one with qualifications in sports management, coaching and refereeing. In 2009 he participated in a Professional Athlete Mentorship training programme through the Gauteng Provincial Government. In 2009 and 2010, he worked with SA Rugby as the logistics manager for the South African Under-20 team.
Since January 2007, Dlulane has been employed as the Blue Bulls Junior High Performance team manager with responsibilities ranging from the management of budgets for Blue Bulls Vodacom Cup team, and Blue Bulls Under-19 and 21teams, procurement of equipment and apparel, and day to day organisation.
Perhaps his greatest responsibility has been the co-ordination and management of the Blue Bulls Junior High Performance department consisting of 18 coaches, doctor, physiotherapists, biokineticists, masseuse and baggage master.
Dlulane looks forward to filling the big boots of Strydom. “I have learnt so much from Wynie and look forward to continue with the current structures and powerful team ethic that is synonymous with the Blue Bulls family.”
In my opinion, the worst Springbok ever must have been Kaya Molotana:
The sad part is that he was also a victim of the quota system. He should never have been selected. After his stint on and EOYT, he was without a contract, and he was "forced" onto the Pumas in some sort of deal, that I would not like to discuss. He was just not up to standard. Danie Gerber, who was one of the Pumas coaches told us one evening that he just did not have the skills to be a Springbok centre ever, and I think that if there is one person who would have been able to recognise a good centre, it would have been Danie Gerber. It is not what somebody told me. I heard it with my own ears.
I agree about Corne Krige.
I think the most stupid act by a Bok ever, must have been Bakkies' headbutt on Jimmy Cowan. Cowan was an idiot on the day, and on many other days as well. I never liked him and still do not like him. He stiil has that stupid arrogant way about him at Gloucester. He did piss of Bakkies earlier on in the game but Bakkies' retaliation was stupid and no matter how a big fan of Bakkies I am, he pissed me off that day. The moment that I saw the incident happening, I wanted to throw a brick at the TV. That was stupid and really cost him. What was interesting about that incident was what happened during his hearing. He was told, by the chair of the hearing, that he has a reputation and that (at the time in 2010) he has hords of yellow cards to his name and that he keeps on collecting them regularly. Bakkies' reply: "Mr Chairman, my last yellow card was in 2003."
