‘Perversion’ is considered defamatory now. It’s been
replaced by the politically correct term ‘Paraphilia’, much like ‘Retardation’
went through a series of pc adjustments to ultimately result in what is now
referred to as ‘Intellectual Developmental Disorder’.
To quote George Carlin, it is likely that rape victims
will in future be referred to as ‘unwilling sperm recipients’ if the trend
continues.
Nonetheless, when examining a phenomenon for normality, there
are several criteria that may be applied:
Statistical.
It’s generally accepted that something that occurs in
less than 5% of the population, must be considered as statistically abnormal.
Note that this does not necessarily imply abnormality in the clinical sense,
much like dwarfism (less than 4’7” -in most countries) is not inherently sick.
I’m not sure to what extent homosuxuality falls into this bracket, but a quick
google search suggests this might be so.
Health.
Physical health. Does the phenomenon impact on the
individual’s physical health? E.g. what are the effects of ‘fisting’, (putting
yer fist up yer mate’s ass) to effect sexual pleasure. Or ‘rimming’ (sticking yer tongue in yer mate’s
ass), which I assume must inevitably lead to the ingestion of fecal material. I
personally find both practices quite disgusting and likely to be conducive to illness
or injury. I don’t know fer sure whether this leads to injury/illness and hence strongly advise you to clarify this with your GP at
your next visit.
Community health (physical). What’s the correlation
between the phenomenon and the epidemiological status? The CDC seems to have
found that those who engage in brotherly love are 60+ times more likely to
present with an STD. Not sure whether this is true or fake news.
Physiological. E.g. is the penis meant for the anus? Is
it a good fit, or put differently, will the anus suffer insult as consequence
of regular intrusion by the penis? I dunno, but I have heard stories that recipients
require the use of buttplugs to prevent consequential anal leakage. From a
personal pov, it doesn’t seem physiologically right to me, and I would far
prefer to avoid the buttplug scenario.
Mental Health. What’s the correlation between the phenomenon
and the health status of the individual and community in terms of generally
accepted manifestations of social pathology, such as suicide, drug abuse,
promiscuity, divorce, etc. I am not sure
about this, but I do remember reading somewhere that positive correlations have
been drawn by research.
Evolutionary.
Is the phenomenon conducive to survival of the species?
Moral.
Community morality is expressed chiefly through law and
religious dogma. This may over time modulate to the point of adversely
affecting the health status of the individual and the larger community. I am
not sure if decriminalization of homo sexuality has had testable health effects in terms of the
criteria above. What do you think?
