The fact is that Sportsmen like most people have religious beliefs and  those are normally not associated with unacceptable conduct  in the code of sport they participate it,
Some shows their believes more than others is Andrey Rublev, the Russian tennis player.   His father was a boxer and hs now a restaurant owner - and his mother a tennis coach,     They were often way from Moscow and he spent most of his childhood with his grandparents and adored them and at receiving the trophy in the Vienna Tournament he mentioned that his grandmother was from Vienna and he deducated the win to her.
However, a week before he was playing in the St Petersburg championship his grandfather passed away - and his grandmother told him to win the tournament and in the procees honor his grandfather, he went on his knees  on the court and burst out in tears,
Rublev has to be deeply  religious and every match he wins he crossed himself and dedicate it to the Lord,   Last year he moved up rapidly in the tennis rankings and he is closing in on Federer who is now ranked 7 and Alexnder Sverev - ranked 6,    In fact Ruble played Federer once and beat him - while he has frequently beaten Sverev in matches they play each other.    He is by some distance the hardest ball hitter in tennis at present,
He is regarded as a principled  young man who has tens of thousands admirers and one can only hope that he would steer them into an environment of respect for other people, in being and respect for their parents and appreciation of the culture and history of their own countries - really an example for a young gentleman setting an example for other young people to follow.                          ,
