Not even Putin as confirmed by the Minsk agreement wants to have Ukraine as part of Russia.   He at the Minsk  negotiations  in 2015 suggested that Ukraine remains a  separate country and the only part of Ukraine that will never revert back to Ukraine is the Crimea with its 95$ Russian and Tatar population - which never was part of Ukraine and only became part of Ukraine when the Communists tried to tighten control of Ukraine by adding Russian territories to  it. 

It was agreed at Minsk that Ukraine should be changed into a Federal Republic with limitations on the Ukraine Government to  ensure that  human rights in each of the two territories  of the Federation is respected,    It was decided at the Minsk negotiations that a referendum will be held in Ukraine to approve the agreed upon Federal Constitution of Ukraine.   The USA sabotaged the Minsk agreement and the referendum never took place.   

Russia will leave Ukraine if the Minsk agreement is adhered to.     There was no need for destruction of cities and never will be.     

Poland was never part of the USSR e ven though they were under Communist control.    Russia has never threatened the independence of Finland, Poland or the the three Baltic states  and the question about it is mythical.

You are  partly right on the issue of the West wanting a peacful settlement on the absis of the Minsk agreement of 2015, but the fact is that the USA did everything in its power to destroy that agreement and prevent implementation thereof.   For the Democratic USA  Government Ukraine is fighting a procy war against Russia,     

There can be and will be a peace settlement if the USA is kept out of negotiations.   There were some progress made in negotiations on the issue when Macron was horrified by another of Biden's gaffes about removing Putin as the President of Russia.

Do you believe that is accurate and if so do you agree that the Russians are fleeing Ukraine in disorder?  There were about 150 000 Russian soldiers involved in Ukraine and their losses amount to circa 20%  of  all  Russian forces in Ukraine while you claim it is 25% of their tanks?  

By the way there  are no real signs of a retreat  by Russian forces in Ukraine - rather retreat of Ukrainian troops in various areas.   So what is real and what not?   .

I provided a link that listed over 4,000 pieces of Russian military equipment lost, which included tanks, AVF, trucks, trains, aircraft, drones, helicopters, anti-aircraft guns, self propelled guns etc etc.

The actual number of tanks listed lost on that site was 789.

Every single piece of equipment listed on that site is verified by photographic evidence which is provided and viewable.

I looked at your list and the summary provided.    All cases were  proved by photos.   They toi in with  claims by the Ukraine Government and  I am sorry if I misinterpreted the long list included in the report you posted.

I am not interested in those claims.   If the losses were as horrific as the two of you claim they are why are the Russian forces advancing in Ukraine and the Ukraine forces retreating?    Do the western media have journalist embedded with the Ukraine forces like happened in recent Wars - eg Iraq - and is their reports in fact accurate or based on info provided by the Ukraine Government.

Like Biden in 2021 in Afghanistan - American forces fled from Iraq in 2012 in disarray and the result was that ISIS defeated the Iraq army trained  and equipped by the USA and occupied most of Iraq .    Obama in 2015 sent in some advisors and  soldiers - but they were not allowed to fight  against ISIS and the  Iraq Government forces retreat continued.    It was only when Trump sent in more troops with instructions to  drive ISIS out that the movement's control of most of Iraq  collapsed   and the territory occupied by them recaptured with their Caliph killed afterwards in Syria.   When that happened and when Solimeini - the Iran controller of the surrogate Iran forces in Yemen,  Syria,Libya and Iraq  - was killed in a drone attack,  the leftist US media went into mourning for them.    Have we got the same kind of reporting on Ukraine as we had then iro ISIS and Iraq?

Whether they switch tactics is not material. It was clear from the  start that Russia was intereseed only in protecting the Russians living in the Donbas area and not the conquering of the whole of Ukraine as the media claimed.    The main attack was always in the Donbas area and was aimed at protecting Russian-speaking people.    Even  Wikipedia referred to over 4000. people killed in the area since the supposed stopping of further attacks were  agreed upon in the Minsk treaty.    Virtually all of those killings were Russian speaking civilians  living in the  area in the Donbas area still under the control of the Ukraine government by soldiers attached to the Ukraine army.

The bulk of the attack always was on the Donbas area despite the contrary newspaper reports about the intent of Russia to conquer the whole of Ukraine.   ..    Be it as it may the "slow advances" resulted in the occupation of about 25% of the total area of Ukraine.    

I warned elsewhere that the last remaining area is Kharkhov that  will be the last target of the Russian Army and that attack has now started.   Kharkov was for hundreds of ye ars a purely Russian city and for dubious reasons incorporated by the Communist Regime to neutralize Ukrainian dominance of the  Soviet Communist Republic of Ukraine.    It never before 1953 was part of Ukraine.   Once that city is occupied the Russians will not attack further and will ensure the security of the area and awaiting an agreement on the implementation of the Minsk agreement of 2015 through further  negotiation. If that is done expect withdrawal of all Russian soldiers from the Donbas Ukraine area.

One additional requirement will be that the murderous Azov battalion of the Ukraine army with their Nazi paraphernalia  will be disbanded and their Nazi element removed from Ukraine.   They were the part of the Ukraine army  who murdered  thousands  of Russian-speaking civilians in the Donbas area. - as well as murdering of captive Russian soldiers in Ukraine as per a French volunteer who went to Ukraine to help the Ukraine army medical component  and witnessed the murders personally - the Azov soldiers not knowing that the French volunteer was fluent in speaking the Ukrainian language.    

The POW's  were taken to a center where the Azov Regiment was in charge and on arrival in motor vehicles was shot in the knee and then asked a question about "Who is that Officer"  - if they gave a name they were killed with shots in the head - if they were unable  to identify the "officer" they received the same deadly treatment.   The French volunteer was a veteran from the French Army and  was horrified  by what he saw and left Ukraine after what he witnessed taking with him a video-tape of the incident..
