Iran have closed the Straits of Hormuz again citing Israeli ceasefire violations in Lebanon as the reason.

This once again demonstrates how Bozo is nothing more than a ridiculous puppet. Iran are calling all the shots and Bozo has no control over Israel.

He's an international joke. Nothing but a clown who is being played for the fool that he is.

Trump’s stream of aggressive threats on social media and in TV interviews filtered across the Atlantic to the negotiating site, causing anger among the Iranian negotiating team, who said they represented an unacceptable threat to their personal safety. They pointed out the memorandum signed by Trump last week included a non-aggression pact.

Referring to the strait, he appeared to threaten to kidnap the Iranian negotiators, saying: “You close it and you won’t have a country. You won’t even make it back to your fucking country.”

The US president’s threat led to a formal protest by the Iranians to the mediators, and a demand that what they described as his “bullying” was brought under control.

BREAKING: Iran says its negotiating delegation will not return to the Switzerland talks until Trump personally apologizes for his threats today and Israel fully withdraws from southern Lebanon, with Iran's delegation plane already repositioned to Zurich ready to fly back to Tehran, per Al-Mayadeen.

This comes after Trump told Fox shortly before his Truth Social post that if Iran closes the Strait of Hormuz "you won't have a country" and "you won't even make it BACK to your f**king country," as a direct assassination threat against the Iranian delegation.

America needs to remove this clown. The problem is that they only have the 25th amendment, and that would do allot of damage to the party in power. They need a mechanism where the party in power can remove the leader - like in the UK.

It wouldn't have gone up in the first place if the clown hadn't started the war. Now you're trying to give him credit because it's starting to come down . . . months after he promised it would?

I mean really, there's brainwashed and blinkered and then there's this . . .

As for something needed to be done, that may be, but not this. Doing nothing at all was still a heck of a lot better than Operation Epic Fail.

Prices wouldn't have skyrocketed around the globe, the USA would have saved themselves countless billions of dollars, the Iranians wouldn't have a clue how much leverage they have with the Straits of Hormuz, the supreme leader of Iran would be a far more moderate older man who was against building nuclear weapons, billions of dollars of infrastructure damage would have been saved, the Iranian people wouldn't have united behind the regime everyone hates and 150 schoolgirls would still be alive.

Among other negative effects of this stupid, poorly planned and poorly executed war.

Doing nothing would have been a lot better.

It is very funny. And mattering a lot.

There is a lot to say about the oil price, especially as the demand is going to be very strong as nations will want to restore their strategical reserves as soon as possible.

This crisis has confirmed much about the markets in general. They do not work as liberals claim them.

The straight is closed which does not change much the current situation since stranded ships have been stranded for time now and this alone is a factor in the price of oil going down, it is a status quo. And Iranian tankers are moving.

It is very funny because liberals' brains are wired in a way they can not assess a situation from various angles.

There is a lot to explain the oil price coming down despite the iranian action, especially as Iranians are behaving rationally. And this should be stated again, in the methodology as designed by liberals themselves, rationality is an asset as it allows to read a course of action over a duration of time. It is predictable..

Remember, peeps, when Trump's declarations were sending the oil price up and down in seconds. That is the point that has lost strength. Trump no longer influenced the situation as he used to.

That is the point. that has changed a lot. Not the Iranian effect.

The best South African poet in my view, Roy Campbell, describes the Horses of the Camargue:

In the grey wastes of dread,

The haunt of shattered gulls where nothing moves

But in a shroud of silence like the dead,

I heard a sudden harmony of hooves,

And, turning, saw afar

A hundred snowy horses unconfined,

The silver runaways of Neptune's car

Racing, spray-curled, like waves before the wind.

Sons of the Mistral, fleet

As him with whose strong gusts they love to flee,

Who shod the flying thunders on their feet

And plumed them with the snortings of the sea;

Theirs is no earthly breed

Who only haunts the verges of the earth

And only on the sea's salt herbage feed-

Surely the great white breakers gave them birth.

For when for years a slave,

A horse of the Camargue, in alien lands,

Should catch some far-off fragrance of the wave

Carried far inland from this native sands,

Many have told the tale

Of how in fury, foaming at the rein,

He hurls his rider; and with lifted tail,

With coal-red eyes and cataracting mane,

Heading his course for home,

Though sixty foreign leagues before him sweep,

Will never rest until he breathes the foam

And hears the native thunder of the deep.

And when the great gusts rise

And lash their anger on these arid coasts,

When the scared gulls career with mournful cries

And whirl across the waste like driven ghosts;

When hail and fire converge,

The only souls to which they strike no pain

Are the white crested fillies of the surge

And the white horses of the windy plain.

Then in their strength and pride

The stallions of the wilderness rejoice;

They feel their Master's trident in their side,

And high and shrill they answer to his voice.

With white tails smoking free,

Long streaming manes, and arching necks, they show

Their kinship to their sisters of the sea-

And forward hurl their thunderbolts of snow.

Still out of hardship bred,

Spirits of power and beauty and delight

Have ever on such frugal pasture fed

And loved to course with tempests through the night.

And the dollar soars, while shipments of oil through Hormuz almost hit pre war levels. Despite all the set backs, it’s looking more likely the Iran affair will end with the their military being diminished and their nuclear ambitions delayed. And a lower death count than any major engagement I can remember.

It may be expensive, but if it all comes off as anticipated….it’s a new benchmark in avoiding conflict deaths.

If on the other hand Iran plays hardball Trump will have huge leeway to respond having seemingly been very patient with the Iranian zoo.

America has just relied on long-range strikes from bases in the Middle East. While it may have reduced American soldier deaths, what about the school that was bombed? Long-range strikes will inevitably lead to more civilian deaths. What about the deaths of people of other countries? What about all the damage caused by Iran striking military bases in the Middle East? MAGA do not care if civilians are being blown up. This is not just kicking the can down the road; it is making problems worse for those in the future.

Try imagining what that would look like if the same desperate people down the road did that with nuclear weapons. Allowing Iran that option essentially gives a rogue regime veto power over any international discipline.

Ask yourself this, how many people have died in Ukraine exactly because Russia has that very power. Absent his nuclear shield the risks for him in Ukraine would have been far greater. The same kind of scenario could play out with Iran on a smaller scale.

Yes there have been tragedies in this conflict like any other, notably the school children. That won’t be forgotten. But every reasonable precaution was taken to avoid that.

Trump in his usual manner over stated success….destroy the nuclear material, regime change, Middle East Peace, ending Hamas, minimum casualties, ME states signing the agreement with Israel.

So he is being held to all those goals by nations that weren’t willing to help and domestic opponents who would be delighted with failure. But as the Nato Secretary General said yesterday, he is doing the right thing. And there is a decent chance that will be the non partisan consensus once it ends.

The real villains here are countries who know Iran should be contained but said ‘it’s not our war’ to the greatest benefactor.
