SB

You lost the plot.   I said the problem is with the ultra rich and their political conduct.   They believed - like happened before WW2 - that their benefit is to be in bed with the Socialists and they were the main funders of the Nazi's in Germany, the Fascists in italy and the Communists in Russia.     They actually provided the funds to those parties that enbaled them to take over control and establish dictatorships.     That has been proven and in the case of  all three countries the funders often enough came from the USA and the UK.

These people love to start wars as they are also involved with the  armaments industry..    However, in essence for propaganda purposes  the Socialist parties  never had any interest other than ensuring they rule the countries by dictatorial means.   For that purpose the parties in their pocket are not socialist - they are dictatorial.

The fact is that the USA is in serious trouble as a democracy.   The ultra-rich has their own agenda  and the Democrats became their faithful adherents.   The Republicans are less likely to be duped into bribe situations and  less likely to accept the bribes offered by the ultra rich.   The fact is that there is not a single Democrat leader that  should not be investigated for bribery and corruption.       .

@Draad,

This is the town that I live in - Newquay, Cornwall. Winter is a bit long, but I sometimes go to the Canary Islands to break up that season.

It is like the Southern Hemisphere part of the UK. While Cape Town is still a great place, what will it be like in 10-20 years.
That is fine for people that have retired, but for younger people what future exists?

I wasn't slating Cornwall...it looks nice...I just prefer Cape Town, warts and all...if money was no issue, I'd still pick CT as place of residence...I would probably have been way better off financially if I went abroad years ago, but the WC is my home...and I don't have major regrets.

Eddit...if mony was no object,  I would still pick the Western Cape, but probably a more rural than CT.

". . . for the simple reason that you have the IQ of a school kid"
Not strictly true. A school kid can still have a very high IQ. ButtPlug may have the emotional maturity of a school kid but he has the IQ of a stuffed toy.

A stuffed toy  you say Peeper.  But he thrashed you at chess, which he never mentions out of decency and you never mention out of embarrassment.

FishNuts This tells me that you either listened to a bunch of bunk economists or you didn’t understand a word of what they said. “If you have monopolies owning politicians, it is absolutely essential to have a minimum wage.” Why? Because the truth is exactly the opposite of what you said above.

Sure I did mention it on one thread…call it a moment of weakness. Now, did you buy the dip? A BTC futures ETF has been approved and Grayscale have applied for a BTC spot ETF…floodgates? Rooi, I’m not interested in your boring mud slinging. Would much prefer to hear what you’re up to with your crypto portfolio.

Not really a portfolio as such. I still have Bitcoin. That's all, other than virtual property on Earth2 which is also doing great.
