So what? The same principle applies, his beliefs does not harm anyone...his beliefs hurt some folks' feelings...build a bridge and get over it already!

This is nonsense. Next thing we know, we will be forced to go on a date or marry someone because it will offend them to be rejected? It's absurd, why can some people not see this? By the time you wake up it will be too late!

Draad,
I believe the Taliban and Al-Queda are sub-human animals because of their beliefs. (religion/ideology and associated way of life). They are the lowest form of life on the planet.
Is Folau saying that more than 50% of the Australian population are sub-human animals?
This is much more than religion. It encompasses everything.
Some Jews also believe they are God's chosen people, and everyone else is cattle. (heathens)Fortunately, like Christianity they are much more modern than Islam - so it is the minority with this belief. This is the reasons that Jews do not accept Jesus, because the real son of God will make them kings of the earth, For the Jews that believe this, they see themselves as a superior form of life. It is their choice, but if they tell people this it is seen as hate speech. An extreme example of this in reverse is Hitler, who felt justified to murder Jewish people.
Jesus sounded like a democratic person- unfortunately, he has been turned into a monolithic religion that do not understand his teachings, or have the commitment to apply these.

Shark, it sounds like you are projecting your own beliefs unto Folau...you are castigating him fof what you think he believes...maybe you should stop thinking of other people as sub-human, forget about the religious part of the New Testament and read it from a humanitarian perspective...you might be surprised by some of the "truths" you will find there.

I don't know what Folau is really thinking, nor do you. However, he seems like a self-righteous prick using his rugby fame to be a praat on social media, and forcing his viewpoints on others.
What a fantastic world cup preparation the Wallabies have... The Warratahs change room has already been torn to shreds. Some players who appear to be Christian left shortly after the saga- one of them with a religious South African.

Apparently, Folau tried to sue a Christian church (Mormons) before moving to another one. His cousin claims the catholic part of Christianity is the devil. The same place who happeneded to be his employer as well.
Whatever religion the Folau's subscribes to is the right one, until he moves to another one- and then the whole cycle starts again.
My guess is that he will soon create his own version of Christianity where he will be a pastor- and all others Christian groups are going to hell along with the Catholics.

Anyone can see the evil predators were lying in wait for him, bunch of lying vipers.

They remind me of these thugs that killed a Russian tourist just recently near Chapmans in Cape Town.

A change of faith has steeled Israel Folau ahead of the immense challenges awaiting him in the 2012 AFL season.

Folau was a devout Mormon since childhood but his family cut ties with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints earlier this year.

Greater Western Sydney's code-hopping star now practises under the Assemblies of God fellowship, at a Tongan service similar to the Hillsong Church.

He couldn't be happier with the change in spiritual path.

''I had a personal experience with the holy spirit touching my heart,'' Folau said.

''I've never felt that before while I was involved in the Mormon church - until I came to the AOG church and accepted Christ.

''It's been an amazing experience for me personally and I know a lot of people on the outside have been saying stuff about why we left.

''And some people [are] assuming that we left because of money, and all that sort of stuff. I know for myself that it wasn't.''

The 22-year-old instigated the change himself after researching the history of Mormonism.

Folau's friends have been understanding and supportive for the most part, but he admits it has been hard on a few of them.

God will play a large role in Folau's life as he attempts to secure a berth in the Giants' side for their season opener against Sydney.

''He's certainly going to help me a lot out next year [in the AFL] and throughout my whole career,'' Folau said.
