Bet the Yanks wish they could have a state of the nation address like this from someone who is intelligent, eloquent and dignified . . .

"This election that’s coming up on every level is so important because what we’re going to be battling is not just a particular individual or a political party. What we’re fighting against is these long-term trends in which being selfish, being tribal, being divided, and seeing others as an enemy — that has become a stronger impulse in American life. And by the way, we’re seeing that internationally as well.

It’s part of the reason why the response to this global crisis has been so anemic and spotty. It would have been bad even with the best of governments. It has been an absolute chaotic disaster when that mindset – of ‘what’s in it for me’ and ‘to heck with everybody else’ – when that mindset is operationalized in our government."

Imagine a president who could articulate his thoughts like that in a time of crisis . . . instead of an incompetent clown saying a whole bunch of stupid stuff, trying to make everything about himsef. incapable of completing simple sentences and whining like a little bitch about the naughty media and everyone else who hates him.

Well spoken Mr President!

Obama is a great ambassador to the human race. Having a sub-human like Trump is like a night and day comparison.

Trump epitomizes the negative stereotype of America that people around the world dislike- fake, loudmouth, materialistic Yankee consumer, no environmental care, false Christian etc.

Obama is total class.

Yep. A very wise man indeed. Like the time when he, very wisely, advised Trump to stop “whining” about possible Russian interference in the 2016 elections. Remember that wisdom? In case your memory is a bit fuzzy......

A great in talking - but  equal greater in bribery and corruption,   A reasonable chance that he will end up in jail because of the latter,  He had the FBI and Justice Department corrupted to cover up his misdeeds and corruption.   He had them spy on the Trump campaign  and then committed treason by the way he acted when instead of handing over power like his predecessors - he crooked and start the Russian Hoax which was based on total lies.
All that was a desperate effort to ensure the election of Clinton and allow for continuation of the   corruption his mafia style administration produced,   What he did should never happen in the USA or any other democratic country.
The corruption is being slowly unmasked and is horrible,   He sold out the USA to Russia and China and allied himself to Iran by taking kickback from them of near to $500 million.   Unfortunately for him and the other crooks Wikileaks got hold of thousands of documents confirming the transactions and they published a lot of those - ignored by the Fake News Agencies and his FBI stooges because the info came from "stolen documents".
The worst ever President in the History of the USA - the Jacob Zuma of the USA,

Charlatan vs someone actually trying to do the right thing, although he's not used to being diplomatic...lawyer vs economists, own money vs public money.

Trump never had the need to BS to get his way, he was his own boss. Obame came from nowhere to grab the presidency...against Hillary of all people? His background screams CIA...and he actuallydid all the bad things they are accusing Trump of doing now.. No angel at all. Good actor though...still wonder how $65K worth of hotdogs and pizza looks like...

Most people around the world respect Obama, except the Christian far-right which is a declining and marginalised minority. It is the same people that like Trump who dislike Obama.
Fortunately, the demographics of Generation X, and especially the Millenium generation and generation Z are much less religious - so the likes of Trump in 10 years from now will never get back into power. X, Millenium and Z generations will easily make up the bulk of the votes - and about 80% are Democratic. The shift in ideology in generation X has actually become more Democratic as they have gotten older, not the other way around.
The US will want another Obama. They want science and reason, and someone that will tap into the expertise of others - instead of a bible bashing fool thinking he is smarter than scientists. The MSM will continue to marginalise the former Trumpanzees until they appear to no longer exist. The former Trumpanzees will no longer be the far right, they will be the minority without a pot to piss in.
A conservative in the future might get back into power in the US, but it will like a European conservative -not a happy-clappy Christian. (thank God...)
The whole Republic party will need to reinvent itself, otherwise, a new party will emerge and take their place. Relying on voters who rely on blind faith will not cut it in the future...

Snark...Gen X grew up in the 70's and 80's...We knew real freadom and see through the horse shit the left is peddling.  Religion has got nothing to do with it. Word from the schools is that the Zoomers are much more conservative than the Millennials...the millenials is an anomaly of mankind, a result of too much prosperity created by the Boomers and Gen Xers...a blight that will last only one generation.

I have posted the Demographic stats of the generations in the US. Generation Z is even less religious than Millenials. Conservatism will always exist, but religious conservatism is on its way out - at in the first world countries. (It will a smarter brand of conservatism, a thinking conservative).

The educational gap in partisan orientation continues to grow

Higher educational attainment is increasingly associated with Democratic Party affiliation and leaning.

Religious affiliation and party identification

White evangelical Protestants remain one of the most reliably Republican groups of voters, and the GOP’s advantage among this segment of the population has continued to grow in recent years: 77% of white evangelical voters lean toward or identify with the Republican Party, while just 18% have a Democratic orientation.

Urban voters grow more Democratic, rural voters more Republican

Voters in urban counties have long aligned more with the Democratic Party than the Republican Party, and this Democratic advantage has grown over time. Today, twice as many urban voters identify as Democrats or lean Democratic (62%) as affiliate with the GOP or lean Republican.

Overall, those who live in suburban counties are about evenly divided in their partisan loyalties (47% Democratic, 45% Republican), little changed over the last two decades.

Voters in rural areas have moved in a more Republican direction over the last several years. From 1999 to 2009, rural voters were about equally divided in their partisan leanings.

A wide – and growing – generational divide in partisanship

The rise of the Religiously Unaffiliated

The religiously unaffiliated—those who identify as “atheist,” “agnostic,” or “nothing in particular”—now account for nearly one-quarter (24%) of Americans. Since the early 1990s, this group has roughly tripled in size.

Growth of the Religiously Unaffiliated, 1976-2016Line chart with 29 data points.View as data table, Growth of the Religiously Unaffiliated, 1976-2016The chart has 1 X axis displaying Sources: General Social Survey, 1976-2012; PRRI 2013-2016 Americans Values Atlas.. Religious identity is highly stratified by age, with younger Americans (age 18-29) most likely to be religiously unaffiliated and seniors (age 65 or older) least likely to identify this way.

However, the relationship between age and unaffiliated status is not completely linear. While there is considerable variation at the youngest and oldest ends of the age spectrum, there is less variation in the rate of unaffiliated identity among Americans in their 40s (23%), 50s (18%), and 60s (16%).

Although unaffiliated Americans tend to be younger than religiously affiliated Americans on average, the group collectively is older today than it was a generation ago. Today, about one-third (34%) of unaffiliated Americans are under the age of 30, while nearly three in ten (29%) are at least 50 years old. In the 1970s, half (50%) of all unaffiliated Americans were under 30 years old, and only 17% were age 50 or older. The median age of someone who was unaffiliated during that decade was also seven years younger than it is today: 29 vs. 36, respectively.

Atheists, Agnostics, Seculars, and the Religiously Unattached

There are notable differences among the unaffiliated in terms of their religious identity. Only about one-quarter of the unaffiliated identify as atheist (14%) or agnostic (13%), while fewer than one in five (16%) identifies as a “religious person.” The majority (58%) of Americans who are not religiously affiliated do not identify as a religious person.18

Obama was the darling of the media, which make him appear a good President.   However, he was a crook and the crookedness is only now becoming clear.  The most corrupt President ever in the history of the USA.  Wait till the rats start squealing to turn State Evidence and your hero will sit in Gitmo for life.

Religion has got nothing to do with it. Common sense does... and the Zoomers don't buy into the commie BS like you millenials...they can actually think. Like I've already stated...your hate of religion blinds you to reality.

This isn't about religion...this is about not being an idiot...difficult concept for you lefties, but that's the  crux. The commie model does not work because of arseholes like you and Rooi who thinks they know best and should be able to dictate to others how to live. We had enough. We are tired of being nice and are about to tell you lot to p!ss off. That's what Trump is all about. He is giving the finger to the establishment.  That's why we love him warts and all, because we know the alternative is so much worse....absolutely nothing to do with religion...and I know Trump is probably not a Christian...I don't mind that, but I know he's not the Antichrist...and that's enough for me.

Trump is a Christian. A fake Christian perhaps, but so are most.
If someone does not agree with a happy-clappy Christian, that means they are Communist. Religion is about intolerance. It is having a dogma - and then claiming that is what God says. Even though the Bible is filled with contradiction - that it is clearly written by more than one person.
God (if he exists) is a Communist dictator. It is his way or the highway.  Jesus (if he exists) is a modern-day 21st-century person with Democratic ideals.
It is like Hitlers Nazi party existing in the 21s t century and asking for freedom of speech. They don't practise freedom of speech, but they want other people to respect their right to freedom of speech.
The point is that the least religious group of people in the world are Generation Z, followed closely by the Millenium generation.
Trump got into power off the back of religious supporters of the Republican party, and all the associated xenophobic beliefs.
10 Years from now the Republican party will be game over. Generation X, Z and Millenials will be more than 70% of the voters, so the likes of Trump will never get into power again. These generations have respect for Obama, not Trump.

When seeing the heading for this thread i said to myself that should be hilarious what in the world does poor rooitwit know about wisdom!!!!! Bwahahahahaahahhaha how right i was!!!

Yes the corrupt media involved in the current Coup Attempt did all they could to cover for what was the most corrupt administration in US history. The two star performers were the very Crooked Hillary and Hussien Obummer the Kenyan muslim.

Obummer is now proven to have been connected to the Coup. He could hang for his crimes.

The next few months will unmask this piece of garbage put in office by Soros and the rest of the globalist scum. More and more is govng to come out.

Of course the Globalist in Europe loved Obummer. But these scumbags are also on their way out. Things are a changing!

As for that other extreme dumbass, sharktwit, two thing the imbecile cant grasp.

Firstly the church is growing fastest where population is growing fastest. You were provided with the stats. Remember the atheists are only a very small lunatic fringe group not growing much in world terms.

Secondly the dumbass cant grasp that young people grow older. Most depart from the folly of their youth. There is a rising tide of young conservatives.

Obummer's fake reputation is being destroyed. Just like the credibility of the fake news media circles the toilet!

Obummer is petrified as he has been CAUGHT!

Was nice to see China now has over well 100 million Christians growing at 10% a year. More Christians than CCP members now

rooitwit and sharktwit love Obummer because Obummer supports trans nutjobs. Abortions up to term and every foul thing.

Back to the sewer with these to disgusting sewer RATS !

Some criminals are shrewd - not wise - and people get bluffed by them.  The other fact is that most of the Black Americans are religious and very much so - but they voted in the past for  the Democrats.   If religion is such a big issue - why did that happen?

There are signs that the Blacks realize they are being used and afterwards abused by the Democrats and that more and more of them are leaving the Democrats,   The same with the Latinos.

Many years from now, when our grandchildren are studying history at school or university, they're going to learn that Barack Obama was one of the great presidents of the USA while Bozo wasn't just one of the worst, but the worst ever. He'll be talked about by their generation in the same terms that our generation still talks about Hitler.

In the same way that we wonder how on earth the German people could have allowed Hitler to come to power, our grandchildren will be asking themselves how it was possible that a bungling, narcissistic, bad-mannered and fundamentally stupid person like Bozo ever got be be president of the USA. They'll also wonder how the cowardly Republican senators who had the chance to dump the proven failure chickened out and saved their own positions rather than doing what they must have known was the right thing to do.

And what of the Trumpanzees? Some of the older Trumpanzees will be long gone by then but there may be a few of the younger ones still around . . . and do you know what those Trumpanzees will be saying when their grandchildren ask them about Bozo? They'll be saying they always spoke out against him and no-one would listen to them. That's what the Trumpanzees will be saying many years from now . . . because that's the kind of people they are.

History is not going to be kind to Bozo. As conservatism becomes less fashionable, as the world becomes less nationalistic and insular, when all the cult-like hysteria and brainwashing is over, when Bozo falls from grace and the cowardly Republicans finally stop being so scared of him and start speaking up, the truth will eventually come out and it will be the stuff that our grandchildren read in their history books with horror and amazement . . . horror that such a tacky, low-class, boorish, boastful and disgusting human being became president in the first place, and amazement that there were so many brainwashed and blinkered Trumpanzees who supported him for so long. But there won't be any Trumpanzees then . . . just a few doddering old fools who bought into the myth of Bozo, sucked up all the jun k they heard on Fox News or read on Breitbart and who will deny they were ever that naive or stupid.

Bozo is starting to unravel as the evidence of foreign collusion mounts against him in the Ukraine whistleblower scandal.

I've just watched him being "interviewed" but it was more of a rant about the injustice of it all and of course he went on about a new "witch-hunt" . . . but he was visibly shaken and - as stupid as he is - I think he knows he's been busted.

The only surprise is that it's taken this long for the incompetent and deceitful clown to make such a blunder . . . or should I say, for one of his blunders to come to the public light.

Blackmailing the Ukrainian president by withholding an arms deal until he helps dig up some dirt on his Democrat challenger . . . and then hiding the transcript . . . that's a step too far even for someone with the ability to brainwash so many stupid people.

This will sink Bozo and not a moment too soon. A disgraceful, self-serving and very stupid clown who will go down in history as the worst US president of all time.

Finally it is starting to dawn on the American people that the man they elected president is not only a vain, boorish and stupid liar (which they probably knew already), he's also a treasonous and self-serving weakling.

What other conclusion can be drawn after Trump's humiliation in Helsinki?

The fact of the matter is this: Trump is too vain and proud to admit that there was Russian meddling in the US election because it reflects badly on him so he's prepared to embarrass his own intelligence agencies and side with Putin rather than have his own ego dented.

I see he's now claiming he said "would" when he meant "wouldn't" and he's suggesting everyone else is stupid because we should have known what he meant, but the photo of the hand-written note just confirms that he's lying, and that he can't spell very well!

https://edition.cnn.com/2018/07/18/politics/donald-trump-vladimir-putin-finland-summit-fallout/index.html

The mask has slipped and the real Trump is emerging. A rude and ignorant narcissist who does what Vladimir Putin tells him to do.

Good luck America. You made your bed, now lie in it.

The funny part there was not even a whistleblower - if there was the man would have given evidence in the hearings about the supposed impeachment,   It became clear that it was a plot by a total liar that created the Ukraine Hoax.   There was no evidence so a hearing was held and it was proved  that there was nothing,    The evidence produced was all based on second hand information that nobody could prove,   Even the best of their star witnesses had no first hand information and was stating they think something might be the case.

What hurt them most was that the Ukraine President himself repeatedly denied that the allegations ever happened,   They actually brought into focus the criminal conduct of the Bidens in Ukraine,  Another problem was question  where the US Aid money was actually going and that is now being investigated,    In essence the money went to companies with links to some  Democrat Party members like Biden (Burisma),  Pelosi (Viscoli), Stepanek (Schiff) and a Soros affiliate,   Part of the money was laundered back to the USA through Hunter Biden's company, Paul Pelosi's company and Stepanek's US affiliate on which Board two of Schiff's staff members served.

That conduct was similar to what was normal under the Obama Administration and was obviously crooked.    The FBI in the past did not investigate obvious fraud by Obama and his partners in crime.   However, the impeachment story forced the issue to the forefront and the FBI was forced to open up investigations as to the laundering of aid money by US Democratic Party representatives.   This was why Trump had the US Aid money to all foreign countries suspended so as to ensure that money was used properly and not crookedly like was the norm   under Obama.   Trump effectively remove the Ukraine Ambassador and instructed that US Military Aid money was spent in the USA and not paid over to the Ukraine to handle.

It was extremely stupid of Pelosi and Schiff to open up the impeachment story,   Under the Obama Administration they were above the law and now they are beginning to realize they are not,   Barr will ensure that the FBI will not bury the investigations like they did in the past and it spells doom for the crooks,

The people involved are praised by Rooinek and SB -  what are they going to do when the crooks - Obama included - are charged stemming from  their criminal activities  and those charges are coming?

Comparing Trump to Hitler is offensive, and it’s disrespectful to the many millions who died under the Nazis. People today have no conception who the Nazis were and who their grandfathers died fighting.  Perhaps this might make the difference a little clearer:

‘ By genocide, the murder of hostages, reprisal raids, forced labor, "euthanasia," starvation, exposure, medical experiments, and terror bombing, and in the concentration and death camps, the Nazis murdered from 15,003,000 to 31,595,000 people, most likely 20,946,000 men, women, handicapped, aged, sick, prisoners of war, forced laborers, camp inmates, critics, homosexuals, Jews, Slavs, Serbs, Germans, Czechs, Italians, Poles, French, Ukrainians, and many others. Among them 1,000,000 were children under eighteen years of age.1 And none of these monstrous figures even include civilian and military combat or war-deaths’

Despite his failings as a president, it was the way Obama treated the women in his life, his wife, his daughters, even his mother. "
Indeed . . . here are some examples . . .

Here's a clip showing the respective presidents and their wives arriving at the White House for the first time to be greeted by the outgoing president and his wife. Spot the difference!

I wonder if the Trumpanzees among us will even spot the difference. I'm guessing they won't. Let's see if one of them can prove me wrong!
