"Still we have made some progress,..."

"Progress" ....really? Oh I know, progress to you is when someone agrees with all of your bullshit, I've done that. I've noticed your angst when anyone dared to disagree with you, never known you to be wrong about anything  so shut the hell up , I've given you a couple of bones to chew on, thought you'd be satisfied, apparently no. Anyway feel free to embarrass yourself with that childish shriek..... "Game, set and match"

‘Never known you to be wrong about anything so shut the hell up’….does that even make sense? Surely if I’m never wrong I should be pouring forth pearls of wisdom.
In any case you are a devious prick who has slimed off about virtually every participant on the Board while pretending to be friendly.
As for me having angst when you disagree with me? Why? Does anybody on this Board care what you think?

You're very good, a good sleez ball that is, I'm not the first to have noticed. Had me fooled for all those decades , there was no friendship, you used me as support in your dumb arguments with Rooinek. I thank Trump for coming along and confirming my suspicions.

And oh what a surprise, no spellcheck and grammar lessons thus far......and no calculus either, that's unusual.

Still wanna get dirty huh.....well then bring it on

Trump proved to you that I wasn’t a faithful friend. Okay, that says it all….there is no need for us to have any further correspondence.

Rainbow Bridge is a great horse but if you understand race horses , even great ones get it wrong, especially in handicap races, the july always been a tough one and jockeying for position especially in the last 200 metres can be very tricky...he did not disgrace himself...he came 8th, 4.75 lengths behind the winner, he carried top weight (thought it would not worry him too much but it probably did)...not sure if he was positioned right before the final burst, a big factor in this race. Virtually every horse is in with a chance. In 1969 the great Hawai was eclipsed by a rank 50-1 outsider ridden by David Payne, (who became a trainer because of weight problems and is now a success in Australia. The horse was Chimborah.

Bar Rainbow Bridge, I guessed Linebacker for 2nd Got the Greenlight for 3rd...pure fluke, it does happen sometimes.

Oh good we're back on topic, no I don't think Rainbow Bridge was weighted out of it but it's all relative. In a slow run race for example the top weights normally do well but in a race where several are carrying 5kg less and if the race is run at a cracking pace then the top weights struggle in the straight as they did in the July. I don't know the length of the Grey ville straight but at a guess I'd say it's about 400 metres....the top weights would feel every gram after covering a hard 1600 metres. It would be interesting to know how much outside of the course record the race was run.

Greyville has a 500 metre flat home stretch.

You chaps would be better off studying Kommetdieding. Perhaps that way you might learn what attributes make for a winner. Incredible,  the whole brains trust and not one even mentions the winner.

Hahahaha!

I n hindsight Kommetdieding was a good thing for sure...this was him at 1800 metres at Kenilworth...the July being 2200 metres, so it was a question mark how he would do over another 400 metres but in this clip it shows he has plenty in reserve.Definitely a good horse.

An old Chinese cookbook I have, Madame Wong's Long LIFE Cookbook, is filled with her pithy sayings. One of these wise sayings: "I choose my friends like I choose my food". Which is to say, be a little discriminating and choose only food and friends that are enjoyable, enriching, and soul-satisfying to you. Don't eat just ANYTHING! And don't have just any old person for your friend.

I find this all hilarious.

Like visiting a girl for the first time and her smelly dog comes and sits on your lap.

You(Rooi) want nothing more than to fling the stinking creature(Tante) across the room, but the big picture(Rooi's fued with everyone, but particularly Moz) won't allow you too.

Denny, do you love or hate the pink ribbon they tie in your hair at the parlour? We know it's one of the two and nothing in between hahaha
