You're probably referring to religious people.
The problem is that they have to look at it that way, since it's tied into the larger system that they subscribe to.
I have many gripes with most religions. One thing that has become clear to me is that asking a question that can only be answered with "Because of my faith," won't shift their needle or mine in either direction.

For instance...….. Beeno only ever answers, "because God is eternal"
He cannot prove it, he cannot even provide anything substantial to make me want to even ponder it or question it...….. he just states it is true, and every other human that does not agree, knows nothing, or is a nutjob, or wants newborn babies to be raped...… yeah, he actually stated that more than once....
Beeno believes that this statement of his will absolve him from ever having to explain anything else regarding his faith, belief or religion...…… it's a crock of shyte, and the fact that a so called educated man behaves like that, tells you how much potential shit he can preach to others less educated or informed...
Other religious people don't behave or perform like Beeno does, period

Without wanting to get in the middle, I'll just say that i've have been making an effort to focus on the positives.

The problem is that many people completely shut down when you ask them to explain their ideas. Like they don't really want to be understood. Religious or not, people are so used to being opposed that they tend to treat inquiries as cynical attacks.
Anyway, that's other people man. You are obviously in total awe of the universe and all its possibilities. Similarly, my amazement only ever increases.
