2015 spXV team of the tournament

spXV is well and truly behind us (even longer if ur a saffa, ) but i havent posted my team of the tournament nor have i seen any other peeps team of the tournament which i would like to see,

anyway, here my team of the tournament

uzumaki clan 2015 spXV team

1 steven kitshoff, 2 hika elliot, 3 vincent koch

4 will skelton, 5 sam whitelock

6 eliot dixon, 7 ardie savea 8 victor vito

9 aaron smith, 10 lima sopoaga

12 maa nonu, 13 damien de allende

11 nemani nadolo, 15 ben smith, 14 waisake naholo

16 liam coltman, 17 kane hames, 18 josh honeck, 19 franco mostert, 20 jaco kreil, 21 tj perenara, 22 elton janties, 23 nehe milne skudder

i would have liked to put a 13 who actually played 13 for most of the season, but both nonu and de allendes season was so good, that it would have been a sham to leave them out of the starting XV.

jaco kreil was unlucky not to make the spXV, but i thought ardie by the smallest of margins had the better spXV. wouldnt have any problems though seeing those two reversed.

Etzebeth was better than Skelton

I generally agree with you but i would like to make the following comments:-
*   I am not sure about the Tighthead props -  My choice would be for Malherbe to start and Koch on the bench.   Malherbe was by far the best 3 in the tournament  - that is to my mind.
*   I would switch your 12 and 13 around.  I think that De Allende was the better 12 of the two - having been the choice of the week no 12 in 9 of the 16 matches he played in.   Have no problem with Nonu at 13.   Of the 13's I liked very much of what I saw of Harold Vorster of the Lions - he was good at 12 - but better at 13 in his first season in Super 15.  I am going to bank him next year in the fantasy games - he hopefully will be cheap.    
*   Why no Julian Savea?   I like Milner-Skudder a lot - another good buy for 2016 Super 18 

 my main disagree with your team would be the inclusion of Skelton. He had some good games, and when this happened his 148kg. were very difficult to stop but he had other matches where he was completely missing, specially at the end of the tournament. His very dirty behaviour against the saders (deserving a red for the spear tackle and 2 yellows for each shoulder charge) disqualify him big way also. Broadhurst and Jones have been regularly outstanding and IMO the 2 best locks of the comp with S. Whitelock completing also a great campaign, as he always does. His try against the reds no doubt the best of year.

Jaco Kriel has to be there. Both him and Savea the best loossies by far. Though he palyed the whole comp at openside he can play also blinside and his style is more of a blindside so I include him there.
Slade has been in the form of his life this year and he's a very complete flyhalf. He dominates all the aspects of the game.
Looking only to each player's game, D. Coles has been the best hooker IMO but taking into account his comeback after being said that he had to retire, Elliot deserves to be the incunbent this year.
