There is no doubt having the appeal system in tennis has dramatically improved line calls. Now we have the TMO why not allow three team appeals to the video ref, apart from the ref using the TMO to clarify calls. That should obviate the match losing mistake...like the forward pass in the AB QF in London.
I was struck by this in the Welsh test where the Welsh wing clearly took Hendricks in the air right in front of the bent ref at minute 46.... no penalty. Only for him to call a game changing yellow on Hendricks for a fair contest,
Bent refs like this need to be held accountable in real time.
