....one of the hardest of the Tour. While 30 year old Froome continues to monopolize the yellow jersey. Older is better in the most brutal test of stamina in all sports. And the  fastest riders are still 33 year old Greipel and 30 year old Cavendish.

The age-demon again - now it is cycling.  Just a question - what has that to do with rugby?  Another question - most of the top bowls players are over 40 - is that another requirement that would enhance Springbok  rugby selection?

Well having watched your pick de Kock miss a stumping to dump us out of the CWC ....and your pick Lood dump us out of a win in NZ, I am looking for another way. The evidence just keeps piling up in ath letics where 33 year old Gatlin is ruling world sprinting,  boxing, tennis, cycling and RWC winning teams. Experience counts and modern athletes stay close to their peaks until well in their 30s.

So de Kock lost us the WC thanks to a miss aimed throw on a skidding field.....but nothing is said of 30 something AB s missed run out in the very same game - what a joke.
