Just because you don't get picked for your National team, it doesn't mean you swan off to another country to get picked by theirs.This will be the death knell of Internationals if they don't do something soon.

I'd like to see the best competing against each other at the highest level ... even if it meant finding citizenship elsewhere.
Having a brain dead moron like Meyer overlook a talent like Kockett for chumps like HouGat and Pienaar is reason enough to welcome this as an option.
Why be denied watching the magic of Kockett at test level just because of some backwater hick's idiocy?
The nation may lose but rugby as a whole wins in the end.

No, I am not being difficult.I actually happen to think that one should not just strop off because they don't get their own way, like a spoilt child, and suddenly decide they are another nationality, thus depriving someone who might just happen to be born and bred in that country, of representing them. You happen to want a free for all, do you ? A round robin, where players represent one country one week and another the next ? Because that is the sort of farce we are heading for and it us wrecking the game I was brought up to love.That and the pathetic so called fans our Clubs are full of today.
I spoke to get another old Rugby supporter from way back who has given up Coaching Youth teams because he can now not stand the parents he is expected to deal with and he too is rarely attending matches for Club or Country because of the imbeciles who have started to follow the game of late. It's just all too sad.

I have no issue with a player pissing off to another country and qualifying to play for them if they get continually overlooked at home like Kockott or Barrett or Catt or KP.

Kockett has no French heritage and has been there how long ?
Catt was here a fair while before he was selected for England and has an English Mum, so does KP, more's the pity ! Barritt has English folks.I have always criticised their inclusion in my teams, as you well know.
But his inclusion in the French side is a joke.

Believe me when I say I am desperately trying to get the team membership of the Irish, Scottish and Italian teams using as many as possible websites to get the teams nailed down.
All I could find is that the the Irish team is to be announced on Irish TV at 12:00 today - so I may be able to get the full team posted sometimes this afternoon. Thereis no news about the time of announcement of the other two teams - but hopefully those would also follow some time this afternoon.

No, playing International Rugby is about representing YOUR own Country, not just someone else's that you have chosen to make your home in because you don't get your own flaming way in your own...like some spoilt brat ! If you happen to be raised in that country, that is a different issue.....but it is still less than satisfactory.
But thank you, I am now ignorant. I will add that to the growing list of insults you have aimed at me.
One day I might start throwing some back.

for Wales, Scotland and England: Halfpenny, G. Laidlaw and G. Ford are who use to kick when they play.
I've never seen I. Keatley playing for Ireland but he use to kick for Munster so I suppose he'll assume the task also.
