The point I'm making is I started my schooling in the Cape and finished in Pietermaritzburg. SACS in Newlands was probably 90% Jewish scholars but I was a gentile and when they selected a side for cricket and other sports they did not say that 90% or the majority selected had to be Jewish ...in fact ironically Percy Montgomery, Peter and Gary Kirsten became famous sportsmen and they were gentiles...why should the colour of a man's skin be made an issue.

The past is the past and should be left behind...lets get a life and move on.

Neither NZ or Australia have a policy that there must be so many Maoris and Aboriginis.Even England that is a white country has many mixed players and France, indeed Thierry Dusaitour comes from Ivory Coast...as long as the ANC continues along these lines we are going to be colour concious and it will never die.

Yep I am sure you would love Kolbe and Senatla and a heap of midgets in our backline.
First JW let theme earn a place by starring in the Super 15 So far it hasnt happened. Nobody must be given a chance actually - they should have earned it.

Saf he has a father from Portuguese decent and a POC mother (according to Mike). It shouldn't matter either way, but it does in some circles of influence. Would have him in my team even if he was from Mars. Same with a lot of other POC's, just like I'm also not happy with some white players. Most fans love rugby more than even their bigotry.

Such one-eyed response...the problem with this forum no one respects, or reads and answers intelligently, really sometimes a waste of posting...
