A likely previously addressed question on the Haka

You guys have no doubt discussed this at length previously but I'd like your opinions on the following. This is not a whinge. It's a question regarding psychology, more specifically sports psychology. The Haka is great for fans and everybody loves watching it. Their is no question about that. But the fact that the opposing team, prior to the game starting, are compelled to respond in a certain way IE you WILL stand there and you WILL watch this, doesn't sit right with me. Yes if the AB were not as dominant this question would probably never be raised. But they are, and somehow, and as whiney as it sounds, I have the feeling that it somehow causes the opposing team to start the game on a psychological back foot. Not due to being intimidated by the Haka itself. But because the first thing they have to do when they run onto the field is obey a command from the ABs...obey the command or be deemed cowards. The best Haka I've seen was when Wales walked up to the ABs, by the end they were right in their faces. Goosebumps! But then there was uproar after the game and people said Wales acted inappropriatly. I don't know if I posed that question correctly and i shall prepare for a barrage.

The rule that the opposing team has to stand a certain distance away is silly. If the Abs are allowed to issue a challenge, the opponents should be allowed to meet the challenge. It's just a boring little dance now. 

 Yip, I'm predicting that Kane and Root will go on to become the all time leading run getters over time.... if NZ play an equal amount of tests.
They are both complete batsmen yet they are still so young.
At the moment, AB is far and away the best... but within the next 3 -4 yrs, these two will rise to the top.

Good for world cricket, shit for SA.

Lets not leave out Dave Warner! My word that guy scores a lo of runs at a heck of a pace! But he has yet to prove his consistency outside of Oz.

 The ABs dont give a sh!t what the opposition do ,its the IRB makes the rules and you can stand there like a tool picking your nose or turn your backs or just face the Haka whatever floats your boat .And not one AB objected to Wales doing that they thought it was a fine response .Then they kicked Wa les butts.Only people with objections are those who dont get to face one ,when I played a game against a NZ army team myself and the other kiwis in the Australian army team replied with our own .And what a lot of squeezers in the crowd with their eyebrows knitted into a hairy wee headband in indignation or boredom dont seem to understand is its NOT FOR THE CROWD in the farking stands .Its for the opposing team and no one else .Geddit ?

The IRB are a bunch of politically correct pansies.  

 Yup the ABs love it when teams do stuff like Wales did ,the ABs have had to tone down and make up some PC story for the throat slitting in Kapo O Pango .The best response to some idiot disrespecting the Haka was in a rugby league test NZ vs Australia .Willie Mason who farking well knew better having been born and bred in NZ was laughing and winking at the Haka and making stuid gestures .Less than 3 minutes in he was stretchered off after a massive and legitimate hit .You can diss the Haka if your the opposition but it never works out well ,the aussies did by turning their backs and having a bit of a laugh ,they got 52 points put on them so not so funny .
