This is a club, as much as any bridge club or golf club. It operates on the internet, and has no dues thanks to the largesse of ED. But it is a club in every sense of the word.

In a club, when one member calls for the expulsion of another member, it comes with consequences. If the club rejects your views, the member is expected to resign. There are no rules, just a sense of honour.

RooiAAS may think it's incumbent on him to step down. But I want to assure him it's not necessary in this case. We thrive on quirks, incendiary remarks, insults and just plain thuggery. That's what makes this place fun. But to enjoy it one has to give free rein to one's sense of humour and not take things so seriously.

In my view family and  race are not good subjects. Nobody should be taunted for their religious beliefs. And confidentiality should be respected. Beyond that it's fair game and we should be able to manage ourselves.

I'll confess I knew when ROOIaas made his silly blunder he would end up with egg on his face.....compounded I might add with his early call that "the tribe has spoken". Embarrassing stuff.

Still I'd like to thank everybody who said something nice about me. I'm not innocent, that's far too boring. But I do try to be collegial. And I have to mention the OOM in this regard, he came though when he could easily have gone to the dark side. I accept Dave's reversal,  and was heartened by the unusually strong defence of several posters.

Oh for Pete's sake . . . is this sanctimonious and attention-seeking rubbish sickening or what?

Moffie, telling you to shove off is not a "blunder" you stupid little man. You're the one who turned it into a pathetically self-pitying little vote, not me.

Nothing has changed my mind. As far as I'm concerned you need to either piss off or else grow up, start treating people with some respect and stop ruining rugby related threads down with your pathetic (and, frankly, unhealthy) obsessions about Dave.

Your plaintive and tearful little cry for help didn't change anything . . . other than making most posters feel a bit embarrassed for you.

As the Ozzies would say...'Onya Mate.

There's a line in the sand I would never cross when it comes to board behaviour, Rooinek and Dave have crossed that line many, many times, I believe Rooinek was deadly serious in trying to get rid of you.... so was Dave.

Both failed.

The board has spoken. Numbers do not lie.

And while you are accepting of Dave's retraction(did he have a choice) Rooinek would be smarting and will be back with a similar line at a later date. IMNSHO they are both scum, Dave remains a crass and classless racist troll .

LMAO!

Listen Dense, I think you should also piss off and never come back. You add even less to this forum than Moffie and you're a very unpleasant piece of work.

Now, go set up a snivelling little poll to see who still likes you.

I think it is fair to say that Moz, Saff and Rooi have all over stepped the line a few times before, but so what? They're all adults and will get over it, as should the rest that take life too seriously.
Denny, the truth is they obviously enjoy challenging each other, even though they'll never admit it, and I for one enjoy the running battles. Having said that, I suspect an olive branch has been extended and things will be a bit more civil....for a while.

Did you say an "olive branch has been extended".... Really?

You obviously haven't experienced the bitter and twisted hate Rooinek has shown towards Mozart through a variety of Forums for more than a decade. As for Dave challenging anyone....some challenge with a squad of 50, a 2/7  prediction win rate and a foul-mouth to boot....kinda leaves him in the shallow end of the pool...dontcha think!?

But yes you're right, there'll be some peace....only after the egg on their faces starts to rot and falls off.

I would never call or support your expulsion from this site.   That does not mean I accept your demeaning of other members insofar as theeir privvate careers and emplyment is concerned.   Nobody on this site  knows what they have achieved in life and how they function in their private life - so it should not comeup in debates on rugby issues.
Personally I think dscussions should be around rugby and rugby players and confined to the thread headline.
However, I do love to taunt you and sometimes made comments I know what result in a long debate because they are indeed controversial.   Because o that I would miss your absence from this site.

 Moz. Nice post brother.
Agree wholeheartedly..
We are an (dysfunctional) online family of note.
I kinda see Den and Saf as 2 brothers who love to taunt each other, but i have no doubt that if we were all to sit down and watch the Boks play, we'd all have the biggest jol of all time! There is one thing that always brings us together... the great game we watch every week... week in and week out.

Thats kinda what makes this place special for me. I may not post as often as some of you fellas, but just reading your posts (even during a smash up session) makes me smile.
Its great to know that we all come on here voluntarily almost every day of our lives.

I will never forget 2 years ago, my son fell out of his car seat and cracked his head. He was 6 months at the time.

I had the whole of the Ruckers Forum praying for me.

It was then that I realised that no matter how much we piss each other off, rant and rave... we are actually all mates at the end of the day.

Long live this board!

Mozart it was recently commented that you are the reason that many people are leaving this board.
Authur left and specifically stated that he was leaving because of you. Not long before this it was BiltongBek. You also seemed the major antagonist to the Argentinian professional rugby player leaving.

How many people are left in your Golf Club?

Arthur John threw his toys and blamed Mozart.Biltongbek gave some and took some as well. He did not like it and left.As for Cruz? Are your memory not that well or are you trying to coin some mileage in your spat with Moz? Cruz left after being challenged by a few kiwis. Mostly poi-e and polly boy IIRC.

No Draad, it's your memory that's questionable. Moffie was jumping up and down demanding Ole Cruz's credentials just as much as Poi-e and the others.

Oh and note that Ole Cruz was who he claimed . . . the admins confirmed it after he left.

If he was Cruz  and he left, it was probably because he decided this site could be a problem for him. I became a doubter after a while, but others were  more involved....including Mike who claimed he had met Cruz and then accepted he was an imposter.

Poie was the prime mover, but if your best shot is hanging Cruz on me, go ahead. I remain unconvinced those carefully written posts came from a Spanish speaking rugby player.

You really are a desperate fella RooiAAS.

It is amazing how Dbdraad turns up out of nowhere if I have an argument with Mozart. Dbdradd is one of of the Kamp Staalstraald crew, that make their comments about this website with Van Barlee and the other boot lickers. They read all the comments here, but make most of their postings at Kamp Staalstraad where they can stab people in the back- typically speaking in Afrikaans that many people cant read. It is amazing how quickly the Kamp Staalstraad crew pop up out of nowhere on posts- just picking up stompies on the side.
What exactly is throwing toys? I remember Mozart following Arthur John around the board for when ever he made a comment, to try strike up more arguments. Even when people ignore this old tosser, he still follows them around to try engage them in more arguments.
I don't remember Arthur John having ongoing arguments with anyone else- and for the most part these short-term arguments stuck to rugby. Arthur John explicitly stated he was leaving because of Mozart. Their is no grey area here.
When it gets to the point for these people that leave, where they are not coming here to talk about rugby, but to get followed around by the old scumbag that refers to himself as Mozart. What a joke to associate himself with such a well known person.
Mozart has more arguments with people on this board than everyone else put together. These also more often develop into personal attacks, and become non-rugby very quickly. They also seem to last for ever. Some people argue and forget about it and move on. Mostly it is just kept to rugby or the topic at hand. Most are ready to let bygones be bygones, but not this old coot who follows posters around to strike up old arguments.
I was actually looking for a related post to this, where a vote was done. The first 10 or so opinions told him to F off, when asking if he should stay or go. Cant find it, because their is more than one post with the same keywords. Hardly surprising though. The very fact that he asked for a board vote- if he should stay or go is indicative of all the conflict that he causes. He was in so many arguments at the same time with different people, that he was starting to get the message that he is a trouble maker. No one else posts threads asking the board to vote if they should stay or go.

Hahaha....I knew I was dealing with a moron when he said Christians celebrated the death of Christ. No need to even know the religion to know that was a loser. Now he is expecting the SA economy to soar when gold and other metals are tanking. He is whining about our 1.1% growth when Aus, a similar economy,  is scarcely positive.

"Australian GDP grew 0.3 percent in the third quarter of 2014, down from 0.5 percent expansion reported in the previous three month period and below markets expectations. Net exports and consumption contributed the most to the growth while investment dragged the expansion down".

But maybe this is an education for the poor lad which might be a good thing.

Thanks Draad!. Although I dont remember how you became the moral authority that calls people out and says if they are a nice bloke or not?
You are a typical Kamp Staalstraad poster. Very little rugby posts, more focus on "calling people out".
Allways willing to join an argument that has nothing to do with them.
I am thinking about signing up at Kamp Staalstraad and start "calling out" your hypocritical moralising, where you and your 2 face buddies speak behind peoples back from this board.
Just joining non-rugby posts to become the moral authority at Kampstaalstraad, and hijacking and butting in on your threads and posts to be the moral authority at your beloved Kampstaalstraad

Mozart, if we had not argued about a month ago, I think you would have also agreed on the current status of electricity in South Africa as unacceptable. Also that the GDP is piss poor, and the electricity situation is going to make it worse.
You would rather try win a petty argument, than focus on something much more significant.

Also, you are probably aware that the world is just starting to recover from a recession. It is common economic knowledge that when a recession happens, the economy changes from a Bull market to a bear market.
Much of the money moves from Tertiary and secondary industries, back to primary industry. So the "1st" world countries have recession, but third world countries can actually benefit from a bear market.
China and India are doing really well. China has gone from nothing in a short time, and will pass America as the biggest economy in the world. Brazil have climbed up the world economic rankings during the recession due to largely to natural assets.
Weak currencies are great for companies looking to outsource. South Africa is in the same time zone as Europe and are better spoken in English than many countries. A weak currency can be turned into a strength, this is a big factor on how India has been able to grow so fast.
English is the first language for many people that still live in South Africa.
Their could be call centres and other outsourcing to South Africa, but who is going to entertain that idea when their is electricity cuts during working hours and a government that is labeled as communist- that will try nationalize anything .....What are Sanzar thinking about powercuts during rugby matches which are causing their audiences to decrease
