No I just like a decent debate, I am a bit clueless to why you're taking so much offence to this? I've always concentrated to the overall picture to where Goosen has played and never stuck to either the Top 14 or the European Championship.
Yes, I know you've only made the spreadsheet for the Top 14, but when you make a sweeping statement such as:"Goosen's best games for RM so far was when he started at 15. Coincidently, that was also where he had most of his full games as well."It's qives off the impression that you've given a general assessment and not stuck to just the Top 14. It just so happens to be completely wrong as well.
Goosen is obviously not seen as a fullback by the Racing Metro coach, it doesn't matter if he's had more game time at fullback than at flyhalf when you take into account the decision behind him playing fullback, The unavailability of Dulin for one reason or another.
Also FYI you're spreadsheet is wrong, I've taken the time out to make my own spread sheet with the amount of time he spent at flyhalf
Top 14Round 2 = 19 minutesRound 3 = 30 minutesRound 4 = 31 minutes (Injured, definitely would have had more time at Flyhalf)Round 8 = 80 minutesRound 9 = 65 minutesRound 12 = 80 minutesRound 17 = 80 minutesRound 18 = 13 minutesRound 21 = 8 minutesRound 22 = 22 minutes
That equals to 428 total minutes at Flyhalf, you missed 100 minutes when making your spread sheet if we don't take into account the 21st and 22nd Round's.
Here's the European Championship numbers as well for good measure
1st game = 1 minutes2nd game= 80 minutes3rd game = 80 minutes4th game = 9 minutes Quarter final = 4 minutes
So that's 174 minutes at flyhalf.
Turns out he didn't actually play the 6th pool game, he was in the initial team sheet but was a last minute withdrawal due to injury.
Going back to the Top 14, 428 minutes at flyhalf compared to 240 minutes at fullback with 668 total minutes of game time gives as an approximate ratio of 65% of his time spent at flyhalf and 35% at fullback.
