NZ having a go after the hooter and they score. Wales didn't quite deserve that, but great to see the killer instinct from the AB.

Time up, last scrum. Try ABs after the hooter. ABs got the first game out of the way against a very brave and effective Welsh team. ABs will improve but Wales pushed them in the first half especially. Congrats to the ABs

Well, the AB young guns have pretty much picked up where the old guard left off. Struggled at the start, but I thought Barrett made a difference to their flow out back when he came on. Cracking last 20 minutes from the AB. Good show by Wales, they just couldn't keep up with the men in black at the end.

Yup, North had a big game! Naholo has to work on his defence but he is still green so he will learn.

Some definite weaknesses in Naholo's game, but he is a handful. North, Amos and Williams all had trouble stopping him.

Put a nice big mobile loosie on the wing to thump him a few times and sort ou Nahollow out.Yes passing is a basic skill hacked waaaugh so perhaps before he reaches 30 he might get it.Didnt see the match but Welsh appear to have run out of puff.
How did the over rated bent read play? . He usually tries to star on the wing and have an overlap  - he often scores from that scenario!!

Barnes tried valiantly to save Wales all night - now there is someone that needs a serious eyes check.

Some interesting stats (NZ Herald):
Naholo:
2 tries  197 meters gained 17 carries 9 defenders beaten 5 clean breaks passed 8 times 4 turnovers conceded
4 tackles 2 missed tackles 1 turnover won
Great attacking play but needs to work on his defence.
Overall the ABs made 93 tackles and missed 6Wales made 118 tackles and missed 31

 wow
Thanks JW for the stats
Not surprising at all considering the rust in the players and their combinations.

That was Wales big chance and now its gone like the snows of yesteryear....Well played Wales but the Mighty ABs showing how you never take your foot off the throat .That last try was an emphatic full stop to quell any Welsh ambitions for the next game. And it should have been 46-21 I still despise that Barnes whacker , if he had reffed the Aussie game they would have won no probs as they have a perfect win ratio under him ,10 from 10 or something like that .
