Look at the Argies .A team who relied only upon their forward pack and a sharpshooting ten who have kept to their traditional strengths and added a pretty good backline as well .Keep to your traditional strengths and do a bit of value adding ,you need good linkmen for that to happen too .

Talking of linkmen Burger never played this role in the AB game. Always the first receiver with crash ball intent. What a waste but he must have been following instructions. Anyway, Burger will probably be done with test rugby so in terms of restoring Bok rugby they will have to find someone else, e.g. Whiteley.

Ask sir Graham to join the coaching staff. Director of rugby or something. Let him dictate to all the SR coaches....either that or just deal with the fact that the Boks will keep on losing against the Blacks. We have very few quality coaches of which almost no one are prepared to put up with all the crap that is part and parcel of rugby in SA...national and provincial. Poor show.

Boks showed how they should be playing in the last RC game of 2013?? when they needed to score a bonus point win to win the RC. Ok, it didn't work but it nearly did. Said at the time they needed to carry those tactics through to the RWC 2015 but what did Meyer do in 2014? Went straight back to your "domkrag?" style. He will never learn so get rid of him!!!

Fancy our domkrag rugby almost beating you apart from a penalty reversal. Makes you think eh moooo la la la!I see Dr Moz is disputing the call

Of course Mozart would dispute the call.
He's sore loser ... just like you.
Wankers to the end.

Last time I heard Hasbeeno, "almost" still means you lost! You were out "domkragged" by the AB forward pack so no good going there. AB locks owned the crash and bash of your pack and I can only remember the Boks making any headway over the advantage line about 3-4 times in the whole match. Ref kept you in the game and that's the only reason...

You could always ask a good Kiwi coach like Plumtree to assume higher honours.

Plum would be a welcome sight ...

Whiteley is a light-weight, mobile loosie in the Kankowski mold. They look great in the Currie Cup but disappear at test level, as Whiteley has done in all his appearances in a Bok jersey so far.

my plan would involve the following
saru to ban picking of overseas players all together to stop the mass player exodus happening. this in 3 odd years would create at least some level of player retention locally for our local game....
as well there must be a national debate on how we play the game and i do feel we need to go back to our orginal roots of the game. our real pattern is both beauty and the beast thats real bok rugby. not this mindless shyte we see today
i do feel the time is right to rope in a nz based coach to try and work on our weakness areas this is namely our skillsets at both the rucks general pattern and offcourse. focus our pattern on attack.
make more use of 7's to increase our backline players skillsets. saru needs to push more unions to enter 7's and maybe we should introduce a well published tournament to make it lucrative and expose our players to a new enviroment.
greater focus on a scientific methods to increase our players conditioning and strength. we are light years behind in conditioning and its a major reason why we are not at the top.
revamping our coaching stuctures to enable international coaches into our local domestic system to enable proper skills transfer and create better retention of local coaches coming through the system. as well we need to introduce a template for coaches to try and create a enviroment where we all have the same management structures. i do feel we lack attacking coaches and skills coaches in sa and there is a massive need to create those posts.
bring in old coaches like carel du plessis, alan zondagh and co to be more in a advisory role for all our unions to help create a high standard. our current bok fokus groups just once again focus on forward and defence play attack skills and backline play is totally ignored.
we have all the talent and this ship can be rectified but saru should be the driving force behind this
