The All Blacks don't know too much about Georgia but they're well aware of their monster captain.
The powerhouse No 8 , Mamuka "Godzilla" Gorgodze, is one man the All Blacks will have to keep an eye on in their third pool C fixture.
All Blacks loose forward Liam Messam said Gorgodze, who has scored 24 tries in 63 international caps since his debut in 2003, would merit some close attention.
"Godzilla is a massive man and a brutal man," said Messam. "I've seen some clips of him and he's done some amazing things.
"I know the boys will be up for it. It's another step for where we want to get to and it will be a good week of preparation."
At 1.96m and 119kg, Gorgodze joined French big spenders Toulon in 2014.
He is huge for a looseforward. In contrast, rangy All Blacks No 8 Kieran Read is a mere 1.93m tall, and weighs in at 111kg.
Prop Charlie Faumuina is the heaviest All Black at 127kg, while lock Brodie Rettalick is 2.04m tall.
In Georgia's opening 17-10 win over Tonga, only their fourth in World Cup history, he scored the crucial match-winning try and made 24 tackles.
Argentina eventually put Georgia to the sword in their second game, winning 54-9, but they only led 14-9 at halftime.
Messam has been struggling with a calf injury and, with Waisake Naholo in line to start against Georgia, Messam could become the only player in the All Blacks 31-man squad yet to take the field.
Despite admitting his frustration at being sidelined, Messam said he could still offer something to the team.
"Day by day it's getting better. I just don't want to push it so it's going to ping. I've just got to do my rehab and try and contribute the best I can to the team.
"It has been tough and frustrating. It's been awkward but I can still contribute to this team and make this team successful. I just do my part for this team."
