 FirstFive, kiwi commentator Justin Marshall tries too hard to be impartial! The fact is Bismarck was offside and he shoulder charged Dan Carter and then drove him shoulder first into the dirt dislocating his right AC joint! Was there intent to hurt Carter and take him out - YES!

Did Habana deliberately run into Dagg without looking at the high ball? YES! Was there intent to injure Dagg and thereby taking him out? YES!

 Sam Cane, Brodie Retallick, Sam Whitelock and Charles Piatua all shone as the All Blacks beat the Springboks.

Really glad to see Cane, Retallick and Piatua rated so highly as they are part of the new wave coming into the All Blacks. And by the way Barrett is our 3rd string number 10. Looking good!

Hakwa, I live in NZ , my wahine is a Maori princess, & I've my NZ whanau & friends phoning me, most laughing at me & happy, but ALL conceding that there was absolutely nothing wrong with the tackle. ABs being stupid is Reid and Nonu being sent off together - lucky there were only minutes left before the end of the Test! Nonu I think is trying too hard for some club to notice him as he hoggs alot of the ball!

As for you, don't be so stupid - look at the evidence - Bismarck was so offside that Carter did not have time to brace himself for impact! Cheap and stupid!

Hakwa offsides was dubious, a lot of scrambling of the ball from Woodcock to Smith and then Carter. Du plessis just scrambled out of the blocks like the player he is. Geeze, everyone from sean Fitzpatrick downwards was saying it was a fair tackle, I'm surprised that you see iit as a shoulder charge and "drove him into the dirt". That was one of the finest & deadliest legal tackles in the history of Bok rugby ....... the ref carded him & said high & no arms, off . The irony is we all wanted the return of the good ol' days when All Black vs Boks games were war. Well guess what that's what we got.

That was a hard fought game! Glad the All Blacks came out on top. Sorry we have to go through two weeks of talking about the ref. Beeno is going to have a field day, lol

Still not sure the Boks are really back but we will find out when we play them in South Africa.

Bismarck had the ball & his arm in the fend position, Messam chose to run into his elbow, Messam fell down Bissie went off Messam jumped up .

Congrats to NZ. Epic match spoiled by a bit of controversy.  Not your fault.  Hope the next game is better.

I dont blame the TMO re the first "try" scored by nz as what other conclusion could the TMO reach after thref saying any reason I cannot award the try. I have said this before Beeno, things always seem clear in retrospect - replay after replay after replay BUT in the heat of the Test there is a fine line between reacting instinctly and Intent to hurt! 

Let us look at Bismarck's tackle on Carter, was it instinctive - NO! Did he have ample time to plan (from an offside position) and to execute - YES! Did he intend to injure Carter? YES!

It happened in a split second - the ABs players did not like it, the Crowd certainly did not like it, I did not like it, i doubt Carter's parents liked it, the ref did not like it SURPRISE, SURPRISE!

And then HE DID IT AGAIN! This time with a Karate elbow chop to Messams throat!

• THE Springboks will have to turn to their third-choice hooker to face the Wallabies on Saturday after Bismarck du Plessis was suspended today.

Du Plessis was banned for three weeks - but will miss only the one match - after being found guilty of making contact with the eye area of All Blacks flanker Adam Thompson during yesterday's upset 30-28 Tri Nations win in Dunedin.
