 Nice try Hasbeeno but Ceradyne's stats were not just for Morne Steyn you moron and you know it!Hasbeeno once again caught out with imaginary stats that can and will be easily disproved!And while we're at it, the Baby ABs should have been out of sight in that semi if not for the jammy Boks getting an intercept try. The 2nd Bok try was also a fluke where the ball rebounded from the kick-off into the arms of the Bok back who had a clear run to the line unopposed. 14 points from pure luck!!

 Haawa The Heavenly Father does not take sides...only rewards individuals...winning a match is team work and accolades with God pertain to higher ideals...obedience and not man's honour or pride...that's the difference...what man glorifies and idolises is no value in the wider sense...God deals with the complexities in each individual circumstances...sure He cares but He is far greater in dealings with each one of us individually...afterall no one has indentitical fingerprints...that's just the difference how God treats us all. We need to read His Word and obey it...afterall it's His love letter to us all...when we obey Him we score in our own lives...He gives us instructions for our benefit but God is not to be manipulated. He knows that when we follow Him the results are good...He does this through ups and downs because HE REALLY CARES FOR EACH ONE OF US...even the mockers,cynical and rebellious He calls to repent, change and follow Him...it's not an easy path but when you sincerely call on Him for help He guides you and gives you strength when you are honest and sincere and do it His way.

Not an attempt at anything.  You need to be tolerant with your religion as there are other religions as well.  I will not ridicule yours if you stay clear of mine.  God, Allah is not interested in a mere sporting game there are many more pressing things which need to be addressed.  Famine, racism, war, corruption and a general slant towards lawlessness the world over.   There is much we can do to help in eliminating these from our world.

 Brother CleanCut, you make a valid point and a substantiated argument in certain respects.  It is your right and privilege to believe (or not) the way you do.  Again, I shall never force my belief system upon you or anyone but demand the same courtesy from others.   Remember, it was afterall hakwa who praised his god for some silly achievement by mortal man which prompted the question of position he played seeing as hakwa was convinced of some form of assistance in the game. 
Religions all have some good moral statements and that alone is worth following as it does and can make a better man out of us, we do afterall need morals and principles, don't we?

 I have no problem at all and no shame whatsoever in giving GLORY to my GOD and to my LORD JESUS CHRIST where it is due - to win the RWC after 24years of famine is a miracle. I also look for every opportunity to praise my GOD in even the mundane of things and I thank GOD in advance for the All Blacks winning the 2015 RWC - AND if that does not come to pass I chose to still praise him. Take for the example the big one that got away in the Americas Cup.

 Giving glory the the Son of God is the only appropriate response.
CC is you are really interested read "Evidence that demands and verdict and "More evidence that demands a verdict - bopth by Josh McDowell (Hwo chapters quoting leading world authorities at various universities saying the scriptures are in tact etc). Mere Christianity by C S Lewis will also rock your boat.

Your God then is yourself. Best change God Becs. It's always amazing how the most hardened oaks come to know Christ. Dispite all their shouting the odds objections and rediculing the very idea of there being a God. 
Classic of course was Paul on the way to Damascus to imprison the Christians there. He met the risen Christ and was turned right round. No more arguments, if and buts and endless and even violent objections. He simply said after that - what must I do LORD.
Nothing else ends the lunacy of rejecting Christ. Seek him and you WILL find him. It's not about how good or bad you are. He will receive you and you will know something extraordianary has happened. The Bible describes you Becs as being spiritually blind. And so we all are until we come to HIM. It' s not about religion its about reality.
As I said to CC and Kalead stop mucking about and seek Him with all your being. "If you seek me in earnest you will find Jesus promised" 

I'm a realist, Beeno.......thus I have no God.Others are free to choose their own and worship as they see fit.
I was an a Historian that specialised in Religious History for two years......I know much of Religion and of those who claim to follow it.....  

Becs forget all that religious history stuff. Seek to know Christ. He will reveal himself to you.Religious history often has zip to do with biblical Christianity. I have a history major myself so know a bit about religious history (Did BA at UCT before doing my CA through UNISA). You dont need to know about religious history you need to meet Christ. Huge difference. Seek HIM. Why in the wolrd fous on fallen humanity and what they do. Its totally irrelevant. Focus on seeking to know Christ. He alone can save. It is to Him you must come. Your focus is wrong. Its not even essentially about Church as the Church cant save you! 

 Christianity can not be proven or disproved by science.  It needs an external input. Atheism cannot be scientific at all. The only unbeliever stance based on science must be agnosticism. For me? I prefer to believe in Christ. Sermon over.

 Good sermon there Draad.However science has concluded there was a begining and there is no explanation for that other than a  prior existing intelligence. Its game set and match. 

 Agree Beeno, but it remains theory, albeit the best theory ATM. Guys like Hitchins, Dawkins and Hawking got different theories, but strictly according to science, less probable.  Don't tell Rooinek. ;-)
