But hardly surprising given useless Meyer....a side that contains 10 players who are not the best in their respective positions.
More concerning is the direction this clueless coach is going to give them against the best side in the game.
This could be very messy.
At least useless Matfield is not on board....that should give us a little hope

Nothing wrong with Jannie against Oz. Louw is fine and Brussouw needs to be tested to see if he has it.Schalk has been playing brilliantly!! What nonsense is this! Given the injuries Flip is not a bad choice.
PACK HAS BETTER BALANCE ABOUT ITHabana is still going well. Whitely could make a good impact player.
JP has been replaced by Hendricks due to an injury.
The remaining weak link is hendricks. He needs to show he can defend or his RWC hopes could nose dive if merit is the criteria.
I think Pienaar is no threat and seldoms runs with the ball. His tactical kicking can be suspect as well. Pity Faf couldnt get a shot.

Dave.....you are spot on with your comment.
There is an old saying which goes as follows: BOER MAAK 'n PLAN.
Well we all know from bitter experience that, that saying is all BS.
This guy (Meyer) is a joke unfortunately for SA Rugby.
With a wealth of young talent available he has stuck with players way past their best as named by you and SA Rugby will be the big looser once more.
Sad state of affairs.
The New Zealand players and fans must be celebrating at this stage.

Agree Beeno with those sentiments
Pienaar - entirely predictable, but he is better with the boot than either one of Reinach or Faf. That short box kick of Reinach's at the dying stages of the game on Saturday put us under tremendous pressure when it should have forced Aus back into their own half. I can't blame him for that penalty he gave up - thought Owens called it wrong.
I'm not a Pienaar fan, but I think these last two games have been some of the better ones he's played for the Boks. Certainly, the problem with our kicking game has been more the lack of a quality chase and lack of an aerial competition (looking at you Mr JP). We used to be the best in the world at this, the AB's saw its effectiveness and its a big part of what they do now.

JP just loafs every game. Howeveris this side as bad as some think. There is some experimentation going on but mostly its reasonable stuff.I think we could have called in the 97 kg Combrinck. I would have liked Kriel and Faf in the mix.Anyhow I am not writing off these Boks. Time to go orc hunting!!

The return of Fartur is not good for the average IQ of the Board and it seems he has a bias against the population group that comprises 11 of the current Bok starters. What a dork.

Its a decent side. Meyer is showing more focus at the breakdown with more specialist fetchers. The end of the year tour was a nightmare at the breakdown.

I think we can win this one. We look to be at 70% after all. Scrum should be fine. Lineout looks good and very good on the ground.
Its an interesting side and one which could run the ball effectively. I hope the mindless kicking away of possession will not happen again.

Beenkop you are as ignorant as ever.....and missing the point. Yes Jannie was fine but he is not our best tighthead.....there are better options....that's my point.
Brussouw is good but Kriel is better.
Louw is average at best not even close to being our best 7 or 6.
Schalk is not an 8
Whiteley is not big enough for test rugby.
Flip is at best solid.....Willemse and Jacques du Plessis are far better.
Pienaar is too passive....and kicks too much, he is crap.
Habana is past it. Hendricks can't tackle.
The Bok side is sold short thanks to the selections above.
We will lose once again and then fight it out with the Argies for the wooden spoon.
Sack fucking useless Meyer I say...the bloke is an embarrassment.
