Another way of looking at HM's awful WC

Result vs WC champs NZ:
 France lost by 49
Namibia lost by 44
Tonga lost by 38
Georgia lost by 33
Oz lost by 17
Bargies lost by 10
Boks lost by 2
So I guess the only way HM wouldn't have been a pathetic loser would have been to win the WC according to the true Bok fans on here. Viewed any other way we ran the ultimate champions by far the closest.

 The most stupid poster is making a comparison of the loss by the Springboks against the AB's achieved against the minnows and the drastically out of form France.  Like Naas said after the last game.  The Springboks lost against Japan and Argentina this year - countries who should never be even a consideration insofar as winning is concerned.   The loss against Japan was the lowest point ever in the history of the Springboks.  During the WC the Springboks at one stage was rated as the 6th country in word rugby - the lowest it ever was rated.
This WC will be remembered as the worst disaster ever in the history of Springbok rugby because of that loss. 
The starting of this thread to whitewash the Springboks in their worst year ever  - recording a loss by the "most experienced team" in their history against the minnows Japan and earlier in the year ending up bottom of the log in the RC - just show how deluded the miserable and rugby idiotic Mozart is to cover up his support for the disastrous and worst prepated squad selection ever.   
This whitewash effort will never work - face reality - we are now in the same league as Japan is as a rugby=playing country because of the deluded selection of a Springbok squad based on reputation without regard to performance.            

 So you say...but we beat the Bargies by 11 points. Uncannily close to NZs 10 points. All of this points to a very competitive Bok WC. 
So we are now in the same league as Japan? A bit harsh. I'll admit with our great players retiring it will be a bit tough, but you think we will struggle to see off Japan?  A bit pessimistic I'd say....but then you did predict a loss against Samoa.

The loss to japan was a total disaster, as was the home loss to Argentina.
Although Argentina proved what I said last year allready they are quality side when they choose their first choice team. 
Their backline play against strong teams- was better than the Boks vs strong teams
They are certainly on the up. They are ranked 5th, but if they get more homes games they could easily go up a slot. 
Apparently they are trying to force players to play SuperXV which can only make the game better for them. 

 The loss to Japan was embarrassing....not a disaster, in fact it was irrelevant.

 It was irrelevant?  It happened and impacted heavily on what happened subsequently in the rest of the tournament.     

 It had no impact other than motivating the Boks. A curiosity of history. And an opportunity for fools like you to embarrass youself predicting doom and gloom.

Fact is if the Boks had beaten NZ and subsequently Aus there would have been Bok fans, and posters on this board, who would have been genuinely disappointed, apologetic and still critical of Meyer. Maybe not so much disappointed at the result but the style of play and the roster that pulled it off.. The criticism would be just as unrelenting.

 Dimwit - another loss would have eliminated them from the tournament - so every game became a lay-off game.  Top players could not be rested for at least one game against the poorer competitors in the tournament.   They were forced to go all out to eliminate that possibility and some clearly lost gas in the final stages of the tournament.       

 Oh so we lost to NZ by two points because our chaps were tired....well that's encouraging. 
Matey we are dealing with some of the most disloyal fans I have seen in any sport. and it's not confined to this Board.....we just have a very sour bunch of Bok supporters. It wasn't always thus.

 Loyalty is a wonderful and admirable concept - without loyalty the world is indeed doomed.  It is a massive mistake to make people believe that loyalty should be use to cover up incompetence and incompetence was the hallmark if Springbok rugby over the past 14 months.
Another example is - most thinking people in SA is sick and tired of corruption and poor governance in SA - so the only defense by the ANC is to accuse critics of being disloyal to the country.  Comprehende?

The only real way to look at our WC under useless Meyer is losing to Japan......biggest disgrace in Bok rugby history.....case closed

 Not any more - my membership lapsed after the taking over by Zuma of the Precidency.   You may not know village idiot that the number of members of the ANC came down from circa 1 350 000 to circa 700 000 in the period concerned.     

 But you were always bragging about your relationship with Zuma on a prior Board. RooiAAS often  mocked you about it....now suddenly Zuma is the reason you left the ANC. Sounds like another lie.

taking the 3 odd years he has been in charge what has he actually done that warrants another term ???
he got lucky playing against a poor welsh side that was decimated. he breezed through the pool stages as scotland sandbagged against us. samoa was blown away and the usa was just never there. japan was the only real test and we know what happended.
did meyer revolutionise the bok pattern or add another dimension to our play ???
sorry gents i am not convinced and i know for a fact he is on a one way street to nowhere.
as a person meyer is a great student of the game and has great passion but by the same token he is a hostage of that passion and sadly lacks in foresight.
if he was busy with a long term project and we could have seen some tangible differences i would be the first to want him to stay but we are in most respects worse off then when he took over.
the next appointment must be a long term one.
sorry meyer but your not good enough yet....for 5 mill a year we can really do a lot better than that

Like I said before, Snorre was less convincing at BSing in interviews...easier to spot his fools gold, but Meyer mined fools gold all the same.

Meyer comes across as pretty dumb in intervie ws.....he is no rugby master 

 And you come across as pretty dumb on the written page....while Pervie hasn't even got a matric. Perhaps dumb is not your collective strongest play?
