view about Elzebeth having a quiet second half?

Yes, he is a very good player but he can go quiet. I've noted this in the past. I'm sure why that is though.

I reckon the whole team was a bit quieter in the 2nd half.
Only our looses kept the intensity up.
Its a helluva ask to ask players to run like there is no tomorrow for a whole 80 minutes. Schalk has been doing it for 12 years now.
In truth, HM has questioned the guys fitness levels as well.

A huge flaw would have been Matfield if he was there. De Jager had a great game and his calling was excellent. Problem was he was slightly injured and Meyer replaced him at minute 59 - with Fli[[ie producing nothing in the last 20 minutes. There was no flaw in our strategy at all - it was all in your mind.
Lets pray we do not have Matfield in the team at all. He would have made all the calls to go elsewhere to prevent being put under pressure and thus his bugger-ups so evident in the tests last year in the later stage of the game. With Burger the only alternative that would have been seriously embarrassing.

Good point Mozter! Not that our bench offered much as a replacement for Etzebeth!
