the 2nd ODI tonite? A depleted Black Caps attack are a mighty force to be reckoned with and on a firm wicket favouring bounce the Proteas will be tested. I hope our lads bring along their A game.

Amla made a mistake and was out for 8 from 8 balls. Morne van Wyk made his normal balls-up by being out for 2 off 4 balls. Milne clean-bowled Van Wyk and he got Amla caught at 3rd man. Van Wyks should not be in the team in the first instance.
Rossouw and AB is batting now. The second wicket fell at 20 for 2 and it is now 33 for 2 after 6,1 overs.

I stopped watching after Rossouw went out - he was trying too hard to put some respectability to the run rate - but was out far too soon.
I kept quiet because of the anti De Kock campaign by some members because I could only see failure with no future in the return of Van Wyk to the squad. The latter was a bad failure in all the games he played in and there is already grumbles in the media about his selection -he will not survive in the next squad.
However, he is not the only failure in the team and we need to get some real revival in form of De Villiers. The fielding was horribly poor as well. The Proteas is in a bad slump with one good game succeeded by a desperately poor next game. Duminy and Faf is seriously missed.

Our cricket is in free fall, I have no idea who's pulling the chain but whoever it is, is having a good go. I detect some very serious problems.

Never a truer word spoken. The collapse came through in some games in the WC - but really went down the drain in the semi - after some political interference insofar as the injured Philander is concerned.
From then on the pressure on the chain is increasing and the fall is gaining momentum.

Someone more in touch with SA Cricket could you please enlighten me on what Russel Domingo has done in his career to earn the right to coach the Proteas? Genuine question by the way, I've never heard of him before we hired him.

Spot-on.....right there is the answer, this is what it's about and they don't get it, case in point was the most recent ODI, where the Kiwis sized up that the ball wasn't going to swing, they then collectively decided to bowl stump to stump. I should mention, that the decision was made very early into their attack leading to the demise of the Proteas. On the contrary, even though the Proteas could have learnt from the Kiwi experience which to their folly they decided to ignore, decided instead to bowl short and wide. Dumb.
You can see it, I can see it, I wish the clowns would.....there's nothing more to be said.
