It was with great pleasure that I watched the game between the Argentinians and Tonga.  Argrntiona played a classical game of rugby as the game should be played with the most evident being -
*   Their acu men and cleverness in playing the game through ball sense;*   Their speed*   Their ball skills
After watching the game I thought of the Durban test fiasco and it hit home again why we lost the game.    The same slow and skill-deficiency evident in the Tonga team was even more evident in the Springbok team that played them that day.  The same deficiency was also evident from the game plan the Springboks tried to use that day and what they are using in the WC matches,
The older SA players all gr up in an era when "stampkar" rugby was in sway.  The players must run directly at the first defender(s) to try and breach their defense - due to deficiencies that has been built up over years the skills levels of our backline players have deteriorated to a massive extent.  Nothing will change the older players - it is too late for them to start playing sensible rugby.
